Arcade Mode For Easy-Going Playthrough

Arcade Mode For Easy-Going Playthrough

The Arcade mode difficulty is for new players and those who want an easy-going playthrough of the game. Enemies will be slow to notice Ghosts. Aiming will be easier and Ghosts take less damage from enemy shots.

Regular Mode For Average Difficulty

Regular Mode For Average Difficulty

For players who have already experienced Ghost Recon, Regular mode provides normal difficulty levels. Enemies will slightly be more difficult to defeat in this mode.

Advanced Mode For More Experienced Players

Advanced Mode For More Experienced Players

Choosing Advanced mode is for advanced players of Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Enemies will hit harder and Ghosts will take longer to start regenerating health.

Extreme Mode For Extreme Tactical Gameplay

Extreme Mode For Extreme Tactical Gameplay

Extreme mode is perfect for players who are exceptionally good at this game. Enemies will be lethal and harder to sneak up to. Ghost health regen will take longer to start than in Advanced mode.

How To Change Difficulty Settings

Open Settings In Options Menu

If you want to access the difficulty settings, open up your Main Menu and look for the Options tab in the upper right. Click Options to see the Settings menu.

When you click Settings, click Game Difficulty to find the difficulty level options. There are 4 to choose from - Arcade, Regular, Advanced, and Extreme.

After choosing your game difficulty level, restart the game to implement the changes. Make sure to choose the right one as you'll need to restart again if you want to switch difficulty back to other levels.

About Difficulty Levels

Changes Enemy Awareness & Precision

Difficulty levels in Ghost Recon Breakpoint affect the AI of enemy solders in each mode. The higher the difficulty, the more aware & precise enemy soldiers will be - making it more challenging to take them down or siege complexes.

Adjusts Ghost Health Regen

Health will also be affected according to the chosen difficulty settings. Ghosts will take longer to start health regeneration the higher the chosen difficulty.
