You can change Classes by unlocking each one with 1 Skill Point. You can change to a different class in the "Tactics" menu whenever you are in a Bivouac.

Passives provide boosts without the need to equip them to enjoy their effects. You should also try to unlock perk slots first before you unlock others perks as your equip slots are limited.
No Skill Resets / Respec

You cannot reset to reacquire skill points in the game. Once you have used skill points to unlock a skill, you will not be able to get those skill points back. Choose which skills you need carefully before acquiring them.

You should get all of the skills in Basics as soon as possible. Prioritize getting the Experience Upgrade first to easily get more experience points for the rest.
