Overdrive - Details & How to Unlock
Unlock by Reaching Stage 1,500
| Unlock Conditions | - 17 days after game launch - Reach Stage 1,500 |

In Digimon Up, Overdrive is automatically unlocked upon reaching Stage 1500. It is possible to get Overdrives prior to unlocking it through the Overdrive Summon, but it cannot be equipped or used yet.
| Note | Overdrive works similarly to the Buddy and Support System. The only difference is its Drive Ability. |

Only One can be Equipped
Only one Overdrive can be equipped at a time and once equipped, will activate its Unique Skill. Players are free to swap between Overdrives to match their game style.
| Note | Newly obtained Overdrive must be unlocked before they can be equipped. |

Can Hide the Visual Effect
Due to a bug, the visual effect cannot be hidden.
It is possible to hide the visual effect of the Overdrive by pressing the eye icon in the upper right corner of the Overdrive menu.
Drive Ability - Overview & How to Level
Level Up with Ability Shards
Each ability in the Drive Ability is unlocked with Ability Shards. The abilities are divided into tiers and belong in specific skill trees. Unlock next tier abilities by reaching the required level of the prior one.

Advance Tiers of Each Skill Tree
The level requirements for each tier depend on its skill tree and players must meet the requirements of the previous tier first to unlock the next. It's possible to advance all skill trees evenly or to specialize in a single one.
Proceed to the Next Stage
Rather than maxing out each ability, it's best to move to the next level as soon as you are able to unlock it. By prioritizing going down the skill tree, you can improve various stats in a balanced way.

Use Preset for Different Builds
Drive Ability has 10 presets that you can use freely to create builds and switch between them. Use this to tackle different types of content.
Reset Skill Tree When Needed
Reset your presets and builds at any time with no additional costs. Press the reset button to refund all points used. Do note that this resets the whole tree, not individual abilities.

Increase Overdrive Base Level
Most of the Overdrive can be unlocked for free by increasing the Base Level of your Overdrive. This includes UR to LR+ Overdrives, so steadily increase your Base Level when you can.

Purchase Breakthroughs in Success Stone Shop
Breakthrough materials can now be purchased in the Success Stone shop. However, it requires Success Stones which you can only get when you reach the max Breakthrough of a certain item.

You can pull from the Overdrive Summon for a chance to get a Deluxe EX+ Overdrive. You can pull from the Overdrive Summon with DigiEmeralds, but this can only be done once per day.

Increase Overdrive Base Level

The Overdrive system has a base level and is leveled up with the use of Energy Stones. The higher the level, the higher the Energy Stone requirement. Each level up also strengthens the Base Skill and Base Effect.

Get Free Overdrives
You can get free Overdrives by reaching specific Overdrive Base Levels. It will take time since the required energy stones increase per level, but it is entirely possible to get all 4 Overdrives.
Base Skill Effect Will Increase
The Base Skill effect is also improved with every level up of the Base Skill. This allows you to increase the HP Recovery value.

Base Effect Increases by 8% Each Time
The Base Effect increases by 8% each time the Base Level increases by 1. Just like the passive bonus, it is a bonus effect that applies to ATK, DEF, and HP.
Overdrive Breakthroughs & Effects
Get Duplicates for Breakthroughs
Getting duplicates of the same Overdrive will allow you to perform a Breakthrough for it. However, to reach max Breakthrough, you will need a total of 30 units, including the initial one.

Unique Skills will be Enhanced
The Unique Skill that activates while an Overdrive is equipped is directly affected by the number of Breakthroughs you have performed. Do note that this isn't per copy, but with each Breakthrough.

Passive Bonuses are Enhanced
Passive Bonuses are applied whether or not the Overdrive is equipped. It is enhanced through Breakthroughs. With this, there is a benefit to performing Breakthroughs even on Overdrives you don't plan to use.
