Prioritize Key Advanced Stats

It's recommended to focus on improving just a few Advanced Stats. If the difference in Power Level is small, you may be able to win depending on your Advanced Stats values.

Note!Farming for Advanced Stats is mainly done through the random stats on equipment and Plugins.

Recommended Advanced Stats

Stat Benefit
Critical Hit Rate Increases damage dealt
Critical Damage Increases damage dealt
Stun Rate Restricts enemy actions
Evasion Rate Reduces damage taken

Change Your Partner's Type

You can also try changing your Partner's type. There are a total of 6 Partner types, and the effect of their passive skills differs depending on the type you choose. Try changing it when you want to switch up your fighting style.

Note!Changing types costs 500 DigiEmeralds per change.

Choose a Type Based on the Time Limit

How You Lose Type
Can't defeat them within the time limit Attack: Critical Type
Attack: Combo Type
Special: Skill Type
Lose before the time runs out Defense: Stun Type
Defense: Counter Type
Special: Heal Type

Try Again and Again

For content where you can try again even if you lose, like stages and dungeons, try challenging them multiple times. There's a chance you can win if probability-based elements like critical hits, counters, and stuns work in your favor.

Focus on Fighting Winnable Opponents

While it's important to challenge opponents you can't beat over and over, choosing winnable opponents to secure victories is also a strategy. Choose opponents with a lower Power Level than you in PVP, or a winnable difficulty level in dungeons.
