Should You Reroll?

Takes Less Than 5 Minutes to Reroll

Rerolling in Digimon UP takes only about 5 minutes per attempt, making it a worthwhile option if you want to secure your desired Digimon from the Special Summon. However, rerolling is entirely optional, as you can progress through the game smoothly without spending time on it.

Targeting a 0.5% Deluxe Drop

Although each reroll attempt only takes a few minutes, you are aiming for a single item with a 0.5% drop rate, so it may take many attempts before you obtain it. If you still haven't gotten your target after a reasonable number of rerolls, it's recommended to settle for a good alternative and start playing.

Note!	Items other than the Deluxe ones can be obtained in large quantities from the Skill Card Summon and Supporter Summon shortly after starting the game.

Buddy & SP Support Cannot Be Used Right Away

Both the Buddy and SP Support can't actually be used right away at the start of the game. They can only be added to your party upon progressing through the stages and complete all their unlock conditions.

No Need to Reroll for Permanent Gacha

At Summon Level 1, the General Summon for Cards and Support Digimon only rewards N-rarity items, so there is no benefit to rerolling. Higher-rarity rewards become available as you continue using the Summon and increase its Summon Level.

For the SP Support Summon, it is recommended to stop rerolling once you've obtained your target Deluxe item. Starting the game with an EX+ Support Digimon allows you to build a strong team early and progress through the game's content more smoothly.

Note!	SP Support has a Breakthrough (Ascension) system, so you can consider rerolling for that too.

Increase CRIT Damage with Unique Skill

When Aegiochusmon (SP Ver.) is on your team, its Unique Skill is always active as a passive effect, increasing Skill Critical Damage. Whenever a skill lands a critical hit, you can deal significantly higher damage in both PvE stages and PvP battles.

Obtaining the free EX Nefertimon takes a considerable amount of time. In contrast, simply owning Aegiochusmon grants its Passive Bonus, so obtaining even a single copy provides immediate value.

Consider a Buddy If You Prioritize Defense

Currently, SP Support Digimon tend to focus on offense, while Buddies tend to focus on defense. If you want to prioritize survivability over damage, consider prioritizing the Buddy Summon when rerolling.

Download Game & Launch App

First, download Digimon Up in any of your preferred platform (IOS/Android) and launch the game.

Tap the Title Screen & Perform Initial Setup

Upon launch, tap the title screen and complete the language settings, agreement to the terms of service, and customer information. You are free to choose "Disagree to All" for handling of customer information.

Set Player Appearance

There are few options to the character creation so it should not take too long. It's best to choose your set appearance on your first reroll so you can quickly select the options again on your rerolls.

How to Create a Character

Listen to Jijimon

Go through your conversation with Jijimon quickly by tapping the screen.

Choose a Partner Digimon

Choose a Partner Digimon from one of the 15 options. Do note that there is a way to get the ones you didn't choose later on.

Enter Player Name

A player name can only be 2-10 characters long. For the sake of a faster reroll attempt, make it short for this part since it can be changed later on anyways.

Proceed With the Tutorial

Go through the tutorials for the Hologram Device, equipment, and Guide quest.

Collect DigiEmerald From Presents

▲ It's under the notification icon in the upper left area of the screen.

You can collect the pre-release campaign reward in your Presents. DigiEmerald you get here can be used to pull the gacha.

Complete Up to Guide Quest 4

▲ Quest 1 is cleared during the tutorial.

The gacha is unlocked during Guide Quest 5 so quickly clear Guide Quests 2-4. You will know you've unlocked the Gacha when you get the tutorial for it.

How to Complete Guide Quests

Pull on the Special Summon

Use the DigiEmerald to do a 10-pull on the Special Summon. If you pull the featured Digimon, you can end the Reroll.

Delete Data and Start Over

If you didn't get the featured Digimon, delete your Data by going to the Menu → Other → Delete Account. Repeat the steps above until you get the featured Digimon.
