This guide explains how to obtain and enhance Support Digimon in Digimon UP. Includes best farming methods, how duplicate units increase Possession Bonus, and boost Battle Power.

Support Digimon Unlock Conditions

Unlocked at Guide Quest 6

Unlock Condition At the start of Guide Quest 6

Support Digimon in Digimon UP are unlocked at the start of Guide Quest 6 (after clearing Guide Quest 5). Only 1 Support Digimon can be added to your team when unlocked, and you can use the convenient Auto Select feature from the start.

Unlock 5 Slots by Meeting Conditions

Support Digimon Slot Unlock Condition
Slot 2 When challenging Stage 20
Slot 3 When challenging Stage 40
Slot 4 When challenging Stage 70
Slot 5 When challenging Stage 100

There are a maximum of 5 Support Digimon slots, which are unlocked in order as you meet the conditions. In other words, you can use up to 5 Support Digimon in battle.

Support Digimon Automatically Attacks

Equipped Support Digimon will automatically keep attacking. You cannot give commands to or control Support Digimon during battle.

Use the Auto Select Feature

If you're not sure which Support Digimon to equip, utilize the Auto Select feature. It will automatically form a team for you, though it tends to prioritize high rarity.

Switch Setups with the Preset Function

There are 10 Presets for Support Digimon, so utilize them when you want to switch teams depending on the content. You can also edit the Preset names to make their purpose clearer.

Pull From the Supporter Digimon Gacha

Digimon UP Special Summon

The primary method to acquire them is through the 'Supporter Digimon Gacha'. Spending 30 Supporter Summon Tickets grants a 35-pull, meaning saving your tickets for a 35-pull is much more cost-effective than a standard 15-pull.

The Supporter Summon levels up when the number of pulls meets the condition. As the Summon Level increases, higher rarity items are added to the pool, so be sure to pull from the Summon actively.

Digimon UP Support Gacha Ads

You can watch promotional ads in the Supporter Digimon Gacha up to twice daily. Since each ad grants a free 15-pull, doing this every day gives you 30 free pulls to help raise your Gacha Level.

Obtain from Idle Rewards

Digimon UP Idle Rewards

You will naturally obtain low-rarity Support Digimon simply by claiming your Idle Rewards. Make sure to collect these regularly! Even if you don't deploy them in battle, leveling them up permanently boosts your overall Possession Bonus.

Watching ads for Idle Rewards is another great way to gather units. While drops aren't guaranteed since each ad provides 2 hours' worth of random loot, it's highly recommended to watch them twice daily for the extra chance.

Depending on which Buddy Digimon is linked to your Different Dimension Box, you can randomly collect Support Digimon over time. If you need more Supporters, assign a Buddy that specializes in finding them.

Get from Off-Game Campaign Rewards

Support Digimon may be distributed as rewards for off-game campaigns. They can be received from your in-game Presents, so be sure not to forget to collect them.

Collect the Same Digimon to Level Up

Level up by collecting a certain number of the same Digimon

It's possible to level up a Support Digimon by collecting a certain number of copies of it. Leveling up increases the Support Digimon's stats and Passive Bonus, so be sure to level up your Support Digimon accordingly after obtaining them.

Tip!The Deployment Effect does not change when leveling up.

Increase Crit and Normal Attacks

Among the Support Digimon's stats, the values for Critical Damage and Normal Attack Damege will increase with level ups. Also, the higher the rarity, the higher the initial value, making high-rarity Support Digimon stronger.

Tip!The Critical Rate does not change even if you level up.

More Battle Power with Passive Bonus

You won't receive the benefits of a Support Digimon's effects unless you equip and use it, but the Passive Bonus contributes to Battle Power even when not equipped. For that reason, there is a benefit to collecting even low-rarity Digimon.
