Get Umamusume and Cards by Rerolling

To make Career progression easier, first reroll to get Umamusume and cards. Rerolling in Umamusume takes about 2-4 minutes per attempt, so it's recommended to start during an event where the best cards and Umamusume are available.

Prioritize Pulling Support Cards
Support Cards play a major role in the "Career" mode where you train Umamusume. Since Support Cards require many copies for Limit Breaks, it’s recommended to prioritize collecting them.

Save Your 3-Star/SSR Vouchers for Later

After the tutorial, you’ll receive a 3-Star Umamusume Voucher. While it’s okay to use tickets immediately, Vouchers don’t expire, so it’s best to save them until you really need them.

Train an Umamusume
Train an Umamusume from "Career"

▲You can start from the Career button on the Home screen!
The main content of Umamusume is the "Career" mode. By progressing through this mode, you can advance through each Umamusume's scenario and complete missions, so be sure to play every day until you run out of TP (Stamina).

Start with URA Finale
A new Career scenario is added to Umamusume every six months in the Japanese server, each scenario with different mechanics. But for now URA Finale is the only scenario available in the global version.

Start Career with Spark Inheritance

You can start a Career by performing Spark inheritance. If you follow Friends with excellent blue Sparks that raise stats, you can progress through Career more easily.

Start with Umamusume Who Are Easy to Train

One Career run can take about 20-30 minutes. Some Umamusume have difficult scenarios to clear, so it's recommended to try training Sakura Bakushin O, whom you have from the start and can be easily trained by just increasing her Speed.
Build Support Decks for Career

▲ Career begins after you create your Support Card deck!
Events from the Support Cards in your deck will occur during Career, providing various effects. The stats you get from Training also change significantly, so it's important to build a deck that matches the Umamusume you are training.
How to Build a Support DeckLevel Up Support Cards in Advance

By leveling up Support Cards you plan to include in your deck beforehand, you’ll naturally gain greater benefits during your Career. It’s important to prepare your Support Cards before starting a Career to maximize their effectiveness.

Upgrade Umamusume Later
Both Support Cards and Umamusume can be strengthened before starting a Career. However, if your goal is just to clear the scenario, it’s okay not to strengthen Umamusume cards yet. Focus on upgrading Support Cards first until you’ve gathered enough training materials.

Create a Team with Trained Umamusume
Teams Can Have Up to 15 Members

▲Slots are unlocked by raising your Class, which will be explained later!
You can form a team from "Enhancement > Veteran Umamusume > Edit Team" or from the Team Trials. You can form a team of three for each Race with different conditions, for a maximum of 15 Umamusume.
Raise Your Team Rating and Rank

▲Team Rating and Rank = Team Strength!
As your team Rating increases, your team rank also goes up. The team rank not only affects the results of Races but also gives you Carats each time it increases.
First Goal is to Reach E3 to Join a Club
Once your team Rating reaches E3, you can join a Club. Being in a Club grants access to strengthening materials and discounts on renting inheritance Umamusume, so aim to reach team rank E3 early.

Obtain Carats and Upgrade Items

Completing missions rewards you with Carats, Monies, and Support Points. Be sure to complete daily quests regularly, and steadily progress through the main, Title, and Special missions.

By completing the currently available "Release Anniversary Missions," you can get a guaranteed 3-star ticket and pull from a guaranteed 3-star Umamusume Scout. The period is indefinite, so take your time and progress at your own pace.

The Main Story has two parts: Scenario and Races. You can get Carats, so advance the Story through Races.

You can also get Carats from Umamusume Stories. Stories unlock as you raise the Bond Level, so increase it through Career mode and events, then proceed once unlocked.

By performing the two enhancements above before starting a Career, you gain an advantage. However, since these enhancements require many items, don’t worry about them until you’re familiar with the Career mode and can reliably earn items from missions.
Potential Lvl Upgrade

You can raise the Potential Level by using upgrade items. Increasing the Potential Level unlocks Skills that can be acquired during Career.

Star Unlock

You can raise a character’s star level using Star Pieces, which are mainly obtained from the Scout. While many Star Pieces are needed, this increases base stats and strengthens Unique Skills.

What to Do After Career Progression
Raise Your Class in Team Trials

Team Trials is a mode where you compete against Umamusume raised by other users. You can get Carats and Support Points every time your class goes up by competing in Races, and you can get Carats weekly, so aim for the highest class possible.
Farm Sparks to Train Strong Umamusume

When training, Sparks that inherit Skills and stats are more important than Support Cards. If you have time, try farming strong Sparks to make Career easier.
How to Farm SparksParticipate in Race Events

Various Race events, including the Champions Meeting, are held every month. You can get rewards like Carats, Scout tickets, and Statues, so train the strongest Umamusume possible to get the rewards.
