Rainbow-Colored Gate Guarantees a 3-Star

Silver (1-Star or higher)	Gold (2-Star or higher)	Rainbow (3-Star or higher)

There are three gate colors: silver, gold, and rainbow. A rainbow gate guarantees a 3-Star. Even with a silver gate, there's a chance for an upgrade when the gate opens.

The Director Appearing Guarantees a 3-Star

Normally, Tazuna-san appears when opening the door, but if the Director appears holding a fan with "So Intense!" written on it, it's a guaranteed 3-Star.

There are two types of doors, and the luxurious, ornate one guarantees a 3-Star.

The Text Above the Gate also Changes

It's hard to notice on a single pull, but the text above the gate also changes. If "Eclipse first, the rest nowhere" appears, it's a guaranteed 3-Star, and an animation where the letters sparkle is also added.

Note!	"Eclipse first, the rest nowhere" is a proverb originating from a racehorse named Eclipse, meaning "The one and only, with no one else coming close." It's also displayed as the school motto in the student council room in the anime and manga.

A rainbow-colored sticky note guarantees an SSR. Just like the Umamusume Scout, there are also upgrade animations.

A Rainbow-Colored Book Cover Guarantees an SSR

A rainbow-colored cover also guarantees an SSR. Even if the cover isn't rainbow, there's a chance for an SSR to appear through an upgrade.

Scout Drop Rates

Drop Rate Summary

Both the Career Umamusume and Support Scouts have a 3% drop rate for the highest rarity. In Umamusume, you can reroll quickly by deleting data, so you'll want to reroll until you get what you need when you start the game.
