Effects of Mood
Significant Great Mood Benefits
When you have Great Mood, Training effects are increased by 20%, and Stats during Races are also increased by 4%. This is a huge benefit when raising a character, so you should generally try to maintain a Great to Good Mood throughout the Career.
Effects of Mood
Mood has 5 levels that affect Training efficiency and Stats in Races. Higher Mood gives greater bonuses, while lower Mood increases penalties.

How to Raise Mood
Select the Recreation Button
When your Mood is low, you can raise it by selecting the Recreation button. However, selecting 'Recreation' uses up one turn, so choose it when you have no other priority options.
Rest During Summer Camp

During Summer Camp, Recreation is unavailable. Instead, use 'Rest & Recreation' to recover HP and boost Mood.
