How to Level Up Unique Skill
Level Up During Specific Events in a Career
Unique Skill level increases in 3 ways during a Career: "Valentine's Day," "Fan Festival," and "Holiday Season." Also, you must meet the condition of having a certain number of fans for it to increase.

Earn Fans in G1 Races
While some Umamusume can reach the required fan count through objectives alone, most cannot. Aim to meet the goal by entering Races that offer a large number of fans.

Increase Initial Lvl with Star Unlock
You can also increase the Unique Skill level with Star Unlock, which increases the stars of a Trainee Umamusume. If you start a Career with an Umamusume raised to 5 stars, you can increase their Unique Skill to a maximum of Lvl 6.
Required Fans and Conditions
Easier Conditions for Dirt Specialists
Some Dirt-specialized characters have lower fan requirements due to the difficulty of earning fans. Although there are few applicable characters, keep their specific conditions in mind during a Career.

Effect Boosts on Activation
Increasing a Unique Skill's level boosts its effect, which in turn can improve your chances of winning Races.
Gives Bonus Points in Team Trials
For Unique Skills in Team Trials, the points gained upon activation differ depending on the level. Although it's a small difference, it's an important factor when trying to maximize your points.

The level of a Unique Skill also impacts the Rating displayed at the end of a Career. This has a considerable differences ranging from about 120 to 1,020 points. To aim for a high Rating, keep the Unique Skill level in mind.
