The Grappling Hook is one of the many prosthetic tools at your disposal once you acquire your prosthetic arm. It is an indispensable tool which you will use for several combat and tactical situations!
Does Not Require Spirit Emblems To Use
Unlike other tools, there is no need to spend spirit emblems to use the Grappling Hook. However, there are other requirements that need to be met in order for you to activate the Grappling Hook.
How To Use The Grappling Hook
Find Areas To Use The Grappling Hook
In order for you to use the grappling hook, you will first need to find an area to use the grappling hook. Areas where you can use it on are denoted by a circular symbol.
Symbol Will Turn Green When In Range
The symbol for areas compatible with the Grappling Hook will usually start out as gray symbols. However, once you get close enough, the symbol turns green and you will be able to throw your grappling hook to it.
Use The Grappling Hook To Get To The Area
Once the symbol turns green, press the button assigned to your prosthetic tool to use it and traverse the area!

Traverse The Map Quickly
The Grappling Hook is a tool that enhances your mobility. Since it allows you to vertically travel through areas, it also opens up new routes for you to take.
Close Gap Between Enemies
If you like to play aggressively, you can use the Grappling Hook on some larger enemies to quickly close in on the gap between you and them. This can let you get a few good hits in before needing to back away again.
Make Last Minute Escapes
If you start to get low on health, you can use the Grappling Hook to quickly get to a safe area, and heal up before getting back in on the action.
