Benefits Of Using Stealth
Gain A Tactical Advantage Over Enemies
You do not need to face every enemy head on in your long and perilous journey. Sometimes, the best route to survive is to play it stealthily. Being sneaky also comes with some benefits!
Playing it stealthily will allow you to perform Stealth Deathblows on unsuspecting enemies. These can be done on most enemies that do not notice you! When close enough, a prompt will glow red to perform a Deathblow.
Learn More About Your Enemies
Playing stealth also lets you listen in on enemy conversations. Some dialogues may hold various information such as lore, boss and enemy placements, and even enemy weaknesses!Check Out All Boss Fight Here!
Avoid Combat With Tough Enemies
Using stealth can also allow you to avoid combat with tougher enemies! While this is not always the case, you can sometimes use stealth to push forward instead of having to fight a group or mini-boss.
Stealth Gameplay Tips
Keep Out Of Enemy's Line Of Sight
If you are detected by an enemy, they will immediately engage you. This can mean that other nearby enemies may see this, and join in as well. It is best to keep out of their line of sight to avoid being detected.
How To Keep Out Of Line Of Sight
- Crouch in tall grass
- Hug walls
- Gain the higher ground
- Use obstacles in the environment
- Sneak past behind them
Watch Out For Their Detection Markers
Enemies will have a marker which dictates whether they have detected you or not. This will be shown on your HUD to show which direction the enemy is. The markers are color coded to show their level of detection.
Color Of Detection Markers
|White||They barely notice you. If the the marker fills up, it will turn to yellow.|
|Yellow||Enemies will start to investigate the area. They know something is amiss.|
|Red||Enemies have detected you. Prepare to fight!|
