Best Weapons Overview

※ This article is a work in progress. Recommended weapons & seals for the remaining characters are coming soon!

The Master Sword, obtained as a part of the main story of AoC, is one of the better choices for a weapon for Link. In terms of seals, you'll want to power up basic attacks and Damage Per 100 KOs, while also augmenting attack range slightly (as the weapon's reach is somewhat lacking).

Best Zelda Weapons & Seals

Where To GetGet automatically from Chapter 6: Each Step Like Thunder

Later in the story, Zelda will gain access to bows as an alternate weapon, making her even more powerful. Note that attacks in Luminescent Form will drain Zelda's special attack gauge. For this reason, we feel a Special Atk. Charge Rate seal is invaluable. Additionally, her attack range is rather small and is best supplemented with Attack Range seals.

Best Impa Weapons & Seals

Impa Weapon Devoted Kodachi we_12Damage per 100 KOs
we_2Regular Attack Damage
we_15Special Attack Damage

Where To GetGet as a random drop from:
・Chapter 5: Water and Fire
・Chapter 6: Relentless as a Waterfall
・Chapter 6: Each Step Like Thunder
・Chapter 7: The Great Plateau
・Chapter 7: All Hyrule, United

Impa's regular attack and special attack are extremely powerful after she applies 3 marks on her targets, so we've added seals to further accentuate her strong points. We felt she didn't need a longer range and thus opted for Attack Speed as the final seal.

Best Urbosa Weapons & Seals

Revali Weapon Scimitar of the Seven we_12Damage per 100 KOs
we_14Attack Range

we_15Special-Attack Damage Up
Where To GetGet as a random drop from:
・Chapter 6: Relentless as a Waterfall
・Chapter 7: The Great Plateau
・Chapter 7: The Future of Hyrule

Urbosa's basic and special attacks deal high damage, so this build seeks to buff them both up, while at the same time trying to improve her rather short weapon range.

Upgrading Weapons

Fusion Is The Key To Boosting Power

Weapon

Although choosing the right weapon is indeed important, making sure that you upgrade your weapon with the right seals is a faster way to boost your power! By ensuring that you have a high level weapon with optimal seals (secondary stat attributes), you can maximize how much damage your character does.

Fusion can be carried out at the Blacksmith and will require you to use up weapons you have as materials to upgrade one specific weapon. The system is a bit complex, so check out our guide for details.

It's important to note that some characters weapons, such as Revali's Great Eagle Bow, has a hidden seal at level 25 (in this case, Midair Damage ++) so that might give some builds some direction

I have a star seal that says "Damage to Foes with Status Effects: +13" no idea what is does

Hey there! I know you have a LOT on the go right now, but if you get time, can you add a best weapon build for each type of weapon a character can wield? So, a best build for Link’s two-handed and spear weapon types, and Zelda’s Sheikah slate weapon. Thanks!

First seal pair gives +5 damage. Second seal pair (of not the same as the first) gives an additional +5 for +10 total. I feel like this is better than most seal combinations here.
Information about the different tiers of seals would be nice too.

Where it says "Important!" for the Master Sword that Seals are not removable." The Seals are actually removable after completing "Daily Drills: Rito" and you unlock the "Secret of the Rito Artisans" Hut Upgrade which states "Reward: Gain the Ability to Remove All Seals" in the Blacksmith
