World Map
The world of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is, unsurprisingly, the same one from 2017's Breath of the Wild. This of course means that you'll be seeing a lot of familiar zones and names, as it turns out Hyrule hasn't changed all that much in the past 100 years.

It seems as if you'll be visiting the above 8 areas on your adventures in Age of Calamity. Unlike Breath of the Wild, however, you won't be going from region to region on foot - most of the movement will happen via menu selections.

The map screen in Age of Calamity will serve as your primary hub for selecting missions to go on. You'll also be able to access the Blacksmith, Merchants, and bonus Quests and Challenges from this screen.

Breath of the Wild Map
The Age of Calamity map appears to be largely the same as that of Breath of the Wild! The only main difference is that BotW had more "sub-zones" that needed to have vision unlocked by accessing a Tower in the area.
There are of course no shrines to visit in Age of Calamity, though there WILL be Koroks for you to find. These will be found in each individual stage, as opposed to one openly connected world map, however.
