Invasion: Battle for D.C. - Overview
First Apparel Event

Together with the launch of Tidal Basin and World Tier 5, the first apparel event for The Division 2 will be released titled "Invasion: Battle for D.C."
Check Out New Stronghold: Tidal Basin Here!Receive Special Event Caches
During the event, players will receive Special Event Caches that contain new outfits and emotes, as well as Masks. Everybody will receive one Special Event Cache for free in the first week.
Year 1 Pass Owners Get Additional Caches
Owners of the Year 1 Pass will receive three additional caches when they log in during the event.

- Drop chance when reaching Field Proficiency after level 30
- Drop chance when reaching Dark Zone Proficiency

Bug Fixes & Updates
Announced Bug Fixes and Improvements
Fixes for various issues including crafting station issues, as well as sliders for zoom in and field of view will be introduced in this patch.
- When your Crafting Station is stuck on a lower World Tier, that will be fixed with this update.
- You will get a sensitivity slider for when you zoom in.
- Field of View slider will also be added with this update.
- There will be many more bug fixes that will be listed in the Patch Notes
Balancing Changes
Demolitionist "Crisis Response" Talent Cooldown
The Demolitionist specialization talent "Crisis Response" which replenishes ammo when armor breaks, will also receive an internal cooldown.

The Backpack talent "Safeguard" which grants a 150% bonus to repairing and healing for 20s when killing a target, will receive an internal cooldown so it's not permanently up.
M700 Sniper and MK17 Rifle Nerf
The Sniper M700 and the Rifle MK17 will get a damage reduction.
Crit Damage And Headshot Damage Nerf
Crit Damage and Headshot Damage will be lowered across all existing gear, and will apply as well to existing gear.
Skill Changes
Sniper Turret Reworking
The Sniper Turret will now track targeted enemies, and you can now choose which body part it will aim to.
Chem Launcher Improvements
Chem Launcher will now act as if it's a selected weapon until you put it away.
Firefly Targeting
Aiming mechanism has been reworked, so you can mark targets faster

Weapon Mod Changes
Weapon Mods have been reworked to be more aligned with how they work in real life. They now have new values and new positives. Negative stats will appear on mods with multiple variants like magazines, giving more variety and optimization options.

Skill Mods have also been revamped, and will now correlate with the amount of Skill Power needed to unlock them. Skill Power you receive on each gear has also been adjusted.

Faster Lock on For Sharpshooter Signature Weapon
The TAC-50 Signature Weapon will now have a faster lock on, and will address issues on missing shots with the weapon.
Weapon Buffs
The LVOA-C, the Lightweight M4, the Shotgun AA12, LMG MG5 will receive buffs.
