Recommended Perks To Unlock First
Auto Unlocked - Weapon Slot
When you unlock your first skill, you are automatically told to unlock the Weapon Slot Perk - this happens as part of the story and it is the first Perk you access and get.
Armor Kit Perks
Unlocking Armor Kit Perks increase the amount of armor kits you can carry in missions. From 3 armor kits, you will be able to carry up to 6 when the Perk is fully upgraded.
Inventory / Backpack Perks
Unlocking Inventory Perks will increase your backpack capacity by 10 for every upgrade, for a maximum of 30 slots. This allows you to carry a variety of weapons & gives you space to pick up all loot you can find.
Accolade Perks
A lot of Division 2 missions & areas are locked behind recommended Agent levels so leveling up and farming XP is a must in the game. Unlocking & upgrading Accolade Perks grant you bonus XP when completing certain actions in the field, allowing you to level up faster.

In Division 2, you're able to carry grenades into battle. Grenade Perks increase your carrying capacity to up to 6 grenades in total. This is extremely helpful when you're in a tough mission with many surrounding enemies.
Stash Perks
Stash Perks increase the capacity of your Stash slots in Division 2. Though not as important as the others, unlocking 1 Stash Perk early in the game will give you enough space in your Stash to keep weapons & equipment you'll pick up along the way.

Passive Skills That Enhance Gameplay
In Division 2, perks are passive skills that you unlock that make your gameplay better & more immersive. These can include extra slots for weapons, more armor kits slots, more stash slots, and more!
Head To Quartermaster To Unlock Perks
Perks can be unlocked when you go to the Quartermaster in your Base of Operations. Here you can also unlock your Skills and check your Staff Roster.

As with Skills and Skill Variants, you need SHD Tech to unlock your Perks. SHD Tech can be received as rewards for completing a variety of missions in Division 2.
