Complete Main Story MIssions

Complete Main Story MIssions

Going through and completing main story missions in Division 2 is one of the fastest ways to farm XP in the game. You receive a huge amount of XP plus earn good loot as well.

Replaying Main Missions Do Not Reward Extra XP

Replaying the main mission will not reward you with extra XP after completion. If you are looking to level up fast, try doing other activities in order to earn XP.

Complete Side Missions Later

Find & Finish Side Missions

It is recommended that you complete the Side Missions later on after you finish the campaign. This is because Side Missions will reward you with 33% of the XP you currently need to level up, meaning it scales to your level.

Unlock XP Giving Perks

Unlock XP Giving Perks

Accolade Perks can be unlocked by your character using SHD Tech. These Accolade Perks grant you amounts of XP as rewards for accomplishing certain actions in the field.

Accolade Perks List & Effects

Perk Description
Headshot Accolade Headshot kills award an XP bonus.
Multi-kill Accolade Killing multiple enemies at the same time award an XP bonus.
Weakpoints Accolade Kills triggered by destroying weakpoints award an XP bonus.
Tactical Kill Accolade Kills triggered by destroying environment objects award an XP bonus.
Survivor Not dying for a long time, solo or in a group, will award increasing XP bonuses.

Equip Superior Rarity Gears

Equip Superior Rarity Gears

After reaching a certain level, you will be able to unlock Gears of different rarities. You should aim to find and equip the pink-colored Superior rarity gears. These gears will allow you to attach mods to them.

Equip Mods That Increase XP Gains

Once you have the superior rarity gears, you should then find and equip mods that will grant a bonus to your XP earned. Once you find one of these mods, equip them right away to earn more XP!

Complete Open World Activities

Accomplish Projects

Complete Projects

Regularly check your base of operations & settlements to see if there are projects that you can complete. These projects are composed of tasks that you can do whilst exploring the map. Completing these projects will reward you with a ton of XP.

Rescue Civilians & Stop Executions

Rescue Civilians

While exploring, you will sometimes receive an alert that there is an execution taking place. Search this area and help the civilians to get a small boost in XP!

Take Over Control Points

Take Over Control Points

Going to Control Points and fighting over who takes control over them will also grant you a good amount of XP. This is another way to level up faster or reach level 30 quickly in Division 2.
