What is Housing (Building) System?
A Mode that Provides Materials by Upgrading the Buildings
In the Housing System of Artificial Island, you constuct and upgrade the predetermined buildings to increase the production efficiency of the materials produced by these buildings, then use the materials to exchange for items or fuse items.
Not Exactly a Housing System
It is not a system that allows you to decorate your house freely or visit other users' house. However, it is a useful system to enhance your character, make it a priority when you arrive at the Artificial Island.
How to Unlock the Housing (Building) System
Unlock by Reaching Level or Exploration Progress

The Housing System of Artificial Island will be unlocked . To access the Building Mode, you have to tap the Build icon from the Menu.
How to Enter the Building Mode
Open the Menu, you will see a new "Build" icon next to "Simulacra". Tap it and select [Go > OK], you will able to enter the Building Mode. Please note that you cannot transmit from Artificial Island.

Benefits of the Housing System
Exchanged For Rare Items in Exchange Store
The materials dropped from enemies or produced by the buildings can be exchanged for rare items such as "Special Voucher". Since rare items will be restocked, you can make it part of your daily or weekly routine to proceed steadily.
Producing items by the buildings is more efficient
Though you can obtain same materials by defeating monsters and producing, but producing is more efficient. It'd be better to use the materials dropped from enemies to upgrade the buildings.
Fuse Materials to Get SSR Matrix
There is a chance to obtain the SSR Matrix of Regular Gacha by fusing materials at a high level unlocked by upgrading the buildings. Same as through the Joint Operation or Void Rifts, if you keep trying, you will obtain it someday, so upgrade the buildings to unlock the fuse function as soon as possible.

Defeat the World Bosses in the Building Mode
There are 4 World Bosses in the Building Mode, you can obtain a large amount of construction materials by defeating them. Since they are weaker than the normal World Bosses, it is much easier to take on solo. Some materials are only dropped by the bosses, so be sure to defeat them every week.

Ravagers and Hyenas are in Groups
The Ravagers and Hyenas in the Building Mode are mostly in groups, you can get lots of materials at once by defeating them in their base. Since more materials can be obtained from the named monsters in the base, target them after the boss.
Must Defeat the Beast Monsters Along the Way
Beast Monsters do not live in groups, if you don't defeat them once you find them, the Renovation Materials might run out. Note that the lack of Renovation Materials might delay the construction of Kitty House and Turtle House.
How to Construct and Upgrade the Buildings?
Start Upgrading from the Base Zero or the Building Menu
Once materials are collected, return to the Base Zero or go to the Building screen to construct or upgrade the buildings. Upgrading increases the item productivity,which allows you to redeem or fuse more items.
Which Building Should I Construct First?
It is better to give priority to unlock all the buildings. Since materials are produced by each building at regular intervals, it will be more efficient to collect them if you have all the buildings to produce.
The priority after reaching Level 2
Other buildings cannot be upgraded without upgrading the Development Center. After reaching Level 2, you should upgrade the Development Center first.
Use Materials to Upgrade the Buildings in the Early Stage
You might want to use materials to redeem items like "Special Voucher", but you will eventually obtain them as the productivity of the buildings increases. Therefore, it is recommended to use materials for upgrading the buildings in the early stages.
Need to Complete the Side Mission to Use the Turtle House
To use the Turtle House, you have to complete the side mission "First Visit". It only takes about 10 minutes, complete it as soon as you arrive at the Artificial Island.
