Character Gender - Who To Pick
No Difference In Performance
You can pick which gender you like since there is no difference in performance. If you are very particular, both genders are the same in terms of mobility & combat movement so there is nothing to worry about.

Voice actor is different for male & female. The Japanese voice actor of male character is done by Hiro Shimono while the female character is done by Ayane Sakura.
Character Customization Is Different
Customizing male & female characters are different in terms of outfits, hairstyles, & presets. Players can customize the character to their liking. You can also import presets from other players.

Character Gender - Change Sex
Gender Cannot Be Changed
You cannot change the gender of your selected character in Tower of Fantasy so carefully decide which gender to pick because it is permanent and irreversible.
Recreate A Character If You Made A Mistake
If you want to play on the same server, you must delete your current account and start over. But if you are going to switch server, you can create a new one without deleting your current account.
Simulacra Can Be Changed Regardless Of Gender
Simulacra can be changed regardless of gender. If you want to be the opposite sex of your main character, you can activate and use Simulacra of the opposite sex although it is not customizable.
How To Change Appearance With Simulacra
You Can Change The Gender Icon
Only the displayed gender icon can be changed and not the gender of the main character itself.
