There are in total, 3 ways of unlocking / adding new character to your roster in SSBU. By completing either one of these condition will unlock these Fighter to be used in Smash Mode and Classic Mode.

Extend Reach of Side Smash

You can charge it up to extend the range a bit, which may catch opponents off guard if they don't expect it to reach that far.

Up Air Attack as a Decent Finisher

The duck will peck upward three times. The last peck has good launch power, so use it as a finisher.

Can and Clay Pigeons

While the clay pigeon is flying, you cannot take out the can with Trick Shot. However, you can use a clay pigeon after taking out a can.

A flock of ducks flies by, and any opponents hit by them are set up for five gunmen to fire at. If the ducks don't hit anyone, nothing at all happens.

Flies into the air with a nostalgic flapping sound. Can attack or dodge after a short time.

(↓ + B)
12.0%[Wild Gunman]
Calls one of the five gunmen who each have a different style. They can be defeated.
