These grenades can do a great deal of damage - whether you're hit point-blank or you're hit by the splash damage. It's best to avoid them or dodge away to keep your HP up in the fight.
Move As Far Away When Black Vortex Appears
The Clay Dunestrider's black vortex will suck you in and deal damage on you when you're at its center. When you see the black shadowy arms grabbing you, sprint or dash as far as you can to avoid getting sucked too far in.
