MUL-T - Play Style Overview

MUL-T is a great character / class to use in both single player and coop, long and close range. It's the only class that can hold 2 equipment at once and can also swap out main weapon from rapid firing Auto-Nailgun to precise penetrating Rebar Puncher on the fly. When it rushes forward, it builds up speed & armor, allowing it to run over its enemies and damage them.

Skill	Description
Multifunctional	MUL-T can hold two equipment at once. The active equipment is swapped by using Retool.
Auto-Nailgun	Rapidly fire nails for 60% damage. Fires six nails when initially pressed.
Rebar Puncher	Charges up and fires piercing rebar for 600% damage.
Blast Canister	Launch a stun canister for 220% damage. Drops stun bomblets for 5x44% damage.
Transport Mode	Zoom forward, gaining armor and speed. Deals 250% damage to enemies in the way. Deals more damage at higher speeds.
Retool	Switches his primary fire between the rapid Auto-Nailgun and a piercing heavy-damage Rebar Puncher.

How To Unlock MUL-T

Complete 1st Teleporter Event 5 Times

MUL-T will be unlocked in your inventory when you've completed the first Teleporter event 5 Times. You have to play through 5 different game sessions and go through the first Teleporter in every playthrough.

Item	Recommendation Criteria
Soldier's Syringe	The Soldier's Syringe makes MUL-T's attack speed faster. This is useful in quickly taking down foes in the field.
Backup Magazine	Stacking up on Backup Magazine increases MUL-T's Blast Canister uses - effective when faced with multiple targets at once.
Gasoline	Aside from inflicting enemies with burn damage-over-time, Gasoline also spreads to other closer targets.
Ukulele	The Ukulele provides a chance of chain lightning attack, making it effective in damaging & defeating foes that are close together.
Will-o'-the-wisp	This item creates a fire pillar when defeating foes, supplementing all area-of-effect & damage-over-time items you have in your arsenal.

This recommendation is based off Common (White) and Rare (Green) items for ease of finding within the game.

Recommended Equipment

The Preon Accumulator is a powerful piece of equipment that can do extreme damage over time. It also detonates into a large explosion that can instantly bring down bosses or high-HP enemies.
