Rex - Play Style Overview
Rex is a high-risk, high-reward Survivor. Some of his skills cost a portion of his health to execute. However, the payoff is a ton of damage to enemies! Rex is also a great crowd control Survivor that weakens and pushes enemies away!

| Natural Toxins | Certain attacks Weaken, reducing movement speed, armor, and damage. |
| DIRECTIVE: Inject | Fire 3 syringes for 3x80% damage. The last syringe Weakens and heals for 30% of damage dealt. |
| Seed Barrage | Costs 15% of your current health. Launch a mortar into the sky for 450% damage. |
| DIRECTIVE: Disperse | Fire a sonic boom that pushes and Weakens all enemies hit. Pushes you backwards if you are airborne. |
| Tangling Growth | Costs 25% of your current health. Fire a flower that roots for 200% damage. Heals for every target hit. |
How To Unlock Rex
Complete Power Plant Challenge
In order for you to unlock the Survivor Rex, you will need to complete the Power Plant Challenge: "Repair the broken robot with an Escape Pod's Fuel Array".
Get The Fuel Array From Your Escape Pod
As soon as you land in the first area, exit your escape pod and start inspecting it. There should be a panel that you can interact with. This removes the panel to reveal the Fuel Array.
Fuel Array Takes Up Equipment Slot
Equipping the Fuel Array will take up your equipment slot. This will prevent you from equipping a new equipment. Take note that you should not allow your health to drop below half as this will cause the Fuel Array to explode!
Find Broken Robot In Abyssal Depths
You will find the broken robot in the Abyssal Depths area. It will be on one of the elevated platforms in the center of the map. Use the geysers to boost you upwards to reach it.

Recommended Items For Rex

| Soldier's Syringe | Rex's main attack is burst-fire type. Having the Soldier's Syrings will help increase his attack speed and DPS. |
| Paul's Goat Hoof | Rex does not have a skill that allows him to maneuver out of harm's way when he is in a pinch. Increasing his move speed will be helpful in evading incoming fire. |
| Tougher Times | Having a chance to block damage will certainly help Rex since his skills use up his HP. |
| Leeching Seed | Having the Leeching Seed item will help you instantly regain some of the health that you've lost when using your skills and abilities. |
| Ukelele | Since Rex's main attack speed is not very fast, being able to damage multiple targets with your shots is a must! |
Recommended Equipment
The Primordial Cube will pull all enemies in an area to a single point. This will be useful when using your high damage skills since multiple targets are in a single place!
