Imp Overlord - Boss Overview
The Imp Overlord is a very dangerous Teleporter boss that phases through dimensions, getting from one spot to another quickly. When near you, it thrashes its hands into a smash attack and will throw phase-like fragments onto the ground that will damage you.
Imp Overlord - Boss Fight Combat Tips
Stay Away From Phase-like Shards
The Imp Overlord will throw phase-like shards that land on the ground in your direction. These have an area-of-effect damage when you go near them so it's best to dodge or sprint away from them.
Dash Away From Hand Thrashing Attack
When the Imp Overlord phases near you, it can do a dangerous melee hand thrash attack. Dash away from this move to avoid taking too much continuous damage.
Find Red Circle To Know Where Imp Overlord Will Appear
The Imp Overlord occasionally teleports towards or away from you. Look at the ground for a red circle, this is where it'll move to next. Lay in wait and unleash your strongest attacks the moment it appears from its vortex.

Inter-Dimensional Teleportation
The Imp Overlord will open a vortex and disappear into another dimension then reappear into another area in the field, making a hasty retreat or quick attack.
Melee Hand Smack Down Attack
With both hands, the Imp Overlord will make a series of furious hand smackdowns that can deal an impressive amount of damage if you stay in its vicinity.
Phase-like Fragment Blades
Phase-like fragments will be shot out from the Imp Overlord's hands and fly towards you. Watch the ring around the shards as these deal area-of-effect damage when you're in their range.
