One way to efficiently use your precious gems is to wait for a Brawler that you like, or a high-tier brawler to come on to the shop, and buy them there using your gems. They come at a discounted price so it is best to save your gems for these.

What Can You Buy With Gems?
Purchase Brawl Boxes
You can use your Gems to purchase Brawl Boxes in Brawl Stars. The Mega Brawl Box deal gives you 10 Brawl Boxes for 80 Gems.
What Is A Brawl Box (Lootbox)?Obtain Brawler Skins
Brawler skins can also be purchased using Gems. These are bought via the Brawler tab instead of the Shop tab.
Activate Token Doublers
Token Doublers can also be bought via Gems. These are boosters that, when activated, double the amount of Tokens you earn in-game for a certain amount of time.
Purchase Brawler Offers
Brawl Stars will have "Brawler Offers" once in a while. These offer a certain Brawler with a specific tier or rarity and purchasing them will cost Gems.
How Do You Get Gems?
Purchase Using Real-Life Money
One of the two ways to earn Gems is by spending real-life money within the app. You get more value-for-money by purchasing more Gems within Brawl Stars.
Earn From Opening Brawl Boxes
Opening Brawl Boxes will give you a chance to get Gems. The number of Gems you earn per Brawl Box is completely random.
How To Earn Gems Efficiently
Purchase Level Packs for Discounted Deal
When you reach level 5, 10, 25, and 35 in Brawl Stars, you'll get "special offer packs" in-game. These are offers you can purchase with real-life money and will include 1 Mega Brawl Box + a number of Gems.
Open Your Brawl Boxes
You'll have a chance to earn a limited number of Gems per Brawl Box you open. Use your Keys to purchase Brawl Boxes for more chances to get Gems.
Purchase Value-For-Money Gem Packs
When purchasing Gem Packs, it's best to get the most value for your money. Larger purchases will cost you less per Gem.
