U4RIA NLE Wins Marvel Rivals Asia Tournament

U4RIA NLE, the grand finalists from the Season 0 tournament, has emerged victorious in a reverse comeback. U4RIA NLE started the grand finals down 0-3 in favor of Team Reject. From then on every match was fought tooth and nail with U4RIA NLE managing to do the unthinkable - win four games in a row to defeat Team Reject 4-3, and secure the Marvel Rivals Asia title.

Game 1 took place on Birnin T'challa with both teams utilizing a standard 2-2-2 lineup. The match went 2-0 with heroics from RCJT3's perfect Magneto play who singlehandedly kept the entire U4RIA NLE at bay and won the first map on the best-of-7 series.
Reject Takes Map 2 for 2-0 Lead

Game 2 (Round 1) took place at Yggdrasil Path - Convoy. U4RIA NLE Started with a Spiderman and Venom on defense against a 3 healer meta lineup of Adam Warlock, Cloak and Dagger, and Mantis with only the Winter Soldier as the sole dps hero for Team Reject.
Team Reject proved to be unstoppable as it took checkpoint after checkpoint with ease and it's only at the final checkpoint where U4RIA NLE finally took initiative on the defensive end but eventually fell short with only 20 seconds remaining. Team Reject takes the round.
In round 2, both team teams fielded similar lineups using a 3 healer meta. Reject held U4RIA NLE on the second checkpoint with a stalwart show of defense from RCGaEz (Winter Soldier).
Reject Takes 3-0 Lead

Game 3 took place in Shin-Shibuya - Convergence and started differently with adjustments from U4RIA NLE's choice of a Magneto ban.
U4RIA NLE (Defense) featured a pairing of Rocket Raccoon and The Punisher alongside a team-up of Namor and Luna Snow. Reject (Offense) countered by fielding a lineup with raw power featuring a surprising choice of Squirrel Girl, Psylocke, and its own Luna Snow.
While U4RIA NLE showed better defense than they did in the last 2 matches, Reject maintained their momentum to take round 1 of Map 3.
In round 2, U4RIA NLE's counter pick of the Hulk proved to be no problem for Team Reject as RCJT3's (The Thing) showcase of defensive mastery and RCNovember24's (Psylocke) dives are just too much for U4RIA NLE to handle. This is a devastating loss for U4RIA NLE who's inches away from clinching a map 3 win. Team Reject takes map 3.
U4RIA NLE Fights Back, Takes Map 4 (3–1)

Game 4 took place in Midtown - Convoy which started interestingly without a Magneto or Psylocke ban on Team Reject.
Team Reject's RCJT3 once again took on the role of Magneto alongside RCNovember24's Psylocke. U4RIA NLE fought tooth and nail, enduring RCNovember24's Psylocke harassment to take the payload to the final checkpoint in overtime.
In round 2, Team Reject (Offense) took on a more aggressive stance by taking the payload on the first checkpoint faster than U4RIA NLE. This round featured a lot of adjustments and counter picks with U4RIA NLE even going for a Wolverine mid round while Team Reject counter picked with Star Lord. The round eventually went to Team Reject, thanks to an incredible save from RCJT3's Magneto settling for an overtime showdown for 2 more rounds.
Round 3 is a tug-of-war with both teams capitalizing in the smallest margin of errors just to get eliminations. This time however, U4RIA NLE fought with desperation for a round 3 win.
The final round of Map 4 starts with Team Reject (Offense) with a Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman pairing against U4RIA NLE (Defense) long range pairing of Namor and Hela. U4.ASAsdfd's Hela took Team Reject's hopes of winning map 4 away while a resurgence from U4.ASNLE's Doctor Strange gameplay is starting to gain momentum.
U4RIA NLE Wins Map 5 (3-2)

Game 5 took place on Birnin T'Challa - Domination, with a Groot and The Thing vanguard pairing for U4RIA NLE against a dive composition featuring Psylocke and Ironfist for Team Reject.
U4RIA NLE held on with U4.ASFUNFUN (The Thing) going for a 12-0 to take round 1.
In round 2, U4RIA NLE continues to take on the offensive while Team Reject fails to find a solution for U4RIA NLE's onslaught. U4RIA NLE wins map 5 looking to even up the score in this best-of-7 series.
U4RIA NLE Evens Up Series 3-3

Game 6 took place on Symbiotic Surface - Convergence. The match started with a 3 healer meta for Team Reject (Defense) with Adam Warlock for revives alongside Cloak and Dagger, and Mantis to augment their offense.
The first round seemed to be a showdown between whose Starlord is better with U4RIA NLE's U4.ASHappy2 better showcase of skills while RCNovember24 struggled to harass the backlines.
The first round was defended successfully by U4RIA NLE with Team Reject only gaining 109.02 meters.
In round 2, U4RIA NLE's (Offense) Star Lord just proved too much to handle as they won easily to even up the series 3-3.
U4RIA NLE Wins Marvel Rivals Asia Tournament

Game 7 took place on Spider Islands-Convoy with Team Reject (Offense) once again fielding Squirrel Girl alongside a Namor and Luna Snow pairing.
The first checkpoint went down to the wire into overtime and as Team Reject was only inches away from their second checkpoint, their offense was disrupted and shut down by great plays coming from U4.ASNLE (Doctor Strange) and U4.ASHappy2 (Star Lord).
In round 2, U4RIA NLE looks like the much better team and while Team Reject put up a fight, they seemed to be out of gas, eventually leading to a Game 7 win and U4RIA NLE winning the coveted Asian title.
This is a huge victory for U4RIA NLE who, after being down 3-0, fought back, gaining ground match by match to eventually win the Asia Tournament and the 40,000 USD prize pool.
Team Reject, however, has a bright future ahead of them as they proved to be the greatest challengers in the region.

OCE Grand Finals
Kanga Esports Takes 1-0 Lead in Map 1

The Grand Finals kicked off with both teams deploying a 2-2-2 lineup in Hall of Djaliah - Convergence. The match opened with an intense sniping battle between PStarRevzi (Hela) and KangaTyraxe (Namor). Kanga Esports managed to capture and move the payload early on continuously holding Platinum Star on the backfoot until they eventually win round 1.
In round 2, Kanga Esports maintained good defensive play by managing to hold the objective despite facing two Fate of Both worlds from PStar Ace (Loki) and PStar skittles (Luna Snow). The game went into overtime with Platinum Star successfully capturing the objective in the last moments. Kanga Esports managed to hold key chokepoints and hallways until the last phase, securing them a Map 1 win.
Platinum Star Fires Back 1-1 in Map 2

Map 2 takes place on Symbiotic Surface - Convergence, beginning with an intriguing ban on Luna Snow and a protective pick for Groot. Platinum Star started the match with a pairing of Hela and Winter Soldier, while Kanga Esports fielded Hela and Moon Knight.
Kanga Esports once again captured the payload early on, but this time, Platinum Star made timely defensive adjustments. In particular, PStar's Hypnotic (Winter Soldier) decimated entire backlines with timely resets from his ultimate ability. Platinum Star clinched Round 1 of Map 2.
In Round 2, PStarRevzi (Hela) went on a sniping spree, securing 4 kills in a row. This impressive performance allowed Platinum Star to capture the payload faster than Kanga Esports did in round 1. Revzi showcased exceptional ranged skills, repeatedly sniping the opposing team's strategists. As a result, Platinum Star clinched the Map 2 win.
Platinum Star Takes the Lead 2-1 in Map 3

Map 3 takes place in Midtown - Convoy where Platinum Star started off a strong round 1 with aggressive play from Doctor Strange and Hulk but were hold off to only past the second checkpoint by timely plays from KangaKronicx's Psylocke.
In round 2, Kanga Esports caught Platinum Star off guard by a combo ult play from KangaKronicx (Psylocke) and KangaTyraxe (Hela). However, Platinum Star managed to defend the payload for almost 3 minutes to secure the win in Map 3.
Kanga Esports Defense Prevailed to Even Up Series 2-2 in Map 4

Map 4 takes place on Yggdrasill Path - Convoy, with bans on Hela and Namor, allowing Kanga Esports to opt for an interesting trio of Iron Man, Doctor Strange, and Hulk. Platinum Star countered midgame with a triple duelist setup of Star-Lord, Winter Soldier, and Psylocke.
However, the counter picks came too late, as Kanga Esports' defense held strong, preventing the payload from reaching the first checkpoint. With this, Kanga Esports evens the score at 2-2 in Map 4.
Kanga Esports Takes the Lead 3-2 in Map 5

Map 5 takes place on Royal Palace - Domination. Both teams started with similar lineups. Platinum Star captured the objective early, holding up to 83 percent with a sniping showcase from PStarRevzi's Hela. However, KangaTyraxe (Hela) immediately returned the favor with strong plays and timely ults, allowing Kanga Esports to capture and hold the objective, securing a round 1 win.
Round 2 saw a change in the game's tone, with Platinum Star entering the fight with Eye of Agamotto and Goddess of Death. This allowed them to capture the objective early again. Platinum Star maintained pressure and kept Kanga Esports trapped in spawn, winning round 2.
The final round of Map 5 was a battle of skill, as both teams fielded the same lineups: Magneto, Doctor Strange, Hela, and Psylocke. The round went down to the wire, with both teams battling for supremacy. Heroics from KangaInspo's Loki eventually secured the victory, giving Kanga Esports the series lead 3-2.
Kanga Esports Wins MRI 2025

Map 6 is matchpoint for Kanga Esports and takes place on Spider-Islands - Convoy. In this game, Platinum Star needed a change, as the top-seeded team is now in a must-win battle to tie the game and force a game 7. Groot took action for Kanga Esports, while Platinum Star protected Storm to form a triple duelist lineup once again, this time with a more formidable DPS backline featuring Hela and Psylocke as the flanker.
Kanga Esports' choice of Groot on defense proved effective, as they repeatedly trapped PStar Adam (Magneto) for easy pickings, preventing Platinum Star from reaching a checkpoint. In round 2, Kanga Esports fielded a 3-healer meta, while Platinum Star tried their hardest to defend by fielding their own Groot in a more standard lineup. Kanga Esports, sensing victory, split and focused fired the vanguards early on and this move secured them the Marvel Rivals Invitational 2025 OCE Championship. It was an unbelievable finish for Kanga Esports, who fell to the lower brackets only to emerge victorious in the end.
