How to Get MVP

GameWithImportant Note!No Official Metric:

The developers behind Marvel Rivals have yet to officially reveal how the game determins the match MVP. So everything below will be based off our observations!

Be The Top-Performing Player

Marvel Rivals - Match Results

To become an MVP, you need to fulfill two conditions: be the top-performing player on your team and win the match.

Stick to One Role

Scoreboard Stats
- Kills
- Deaths
- Assists
- Medals
- Final Hits
- Damage
- Damage Blocked
- Healing
- Accuracy

By focusing on only one role, you can funnel all of your points into a single metric.

This means that if you play a Strategist the whole game, your Assists and Healing will be high, which should theoretically offset your lower damage and kills.

Having high points gives players the best shot at getting the system to recognize them as the MVP.

Lessen Deaths

The less time you spend respawning and walking back towards the objective, the more time you spend racking up points in your respective metric.

As much as possible, try not to die unnecessary deaths.

Hold the ACE Status

The ACE Status is given to the player who is currently the best performer on their team. The longer you can keep the ACE status, the better your chances at becoming the MVP or SVP.

Dfference Between MVP, SVP, and ACE

MVP

Marvel Rivals - MVP

The term MVP is an acronym Most Valuable Player.

Players who are awarded this title are generally accepted as the best player on the winning team.

SVP

Marvel Rivals - SVP

SVP or Secondary Valuable Player is a consolation award for the best player on the losing team.

Since Marvel Rivals is a team game, and these awards are based off of individual performance, being the SVP does not always mean that you are a worse player than the MVP.

ACE Status

Marvel Rivals - ACE

There are two types of ACEs in Marvel Rivals, the first one being the ACE status. If you open the scoreboard (TAB on PC) during the match and spot the ACE status next to your name, it means you are currently the best-performing player on your team.

Essentially, the player on each team who holds the ACE title for the longest time becomes the MVP and SVP of the match.

ACE Kill

The second type of ACE is an Ace Kill, which happens when one team eliminates all 6 members of the opposing team.
