All Hitscan Heroes Ranked

In Marvel Rivals, heroes have different shooting mechanics that affect their gameplay. Read to learn more about Hitscan and the ranking of the best Hitscan heroes.

What is a Hitscan?

A Hitscan means that your shots register instantly and has no travel time. Whenever you point your crosshair at a target and click fire, boom, the damage is instant. It's different from Projectile or AOE (Area of Effect) where a character fires off a solid object so the game needs to make other calculations such as trajectory and travel time before applying damage.

Hitscan Heroes Ranked

Marvel Rivals features several Hitscan heroes across different classes. Here's the ranking of all heroes with Hitscan primary attacks:

#7 Black Widow

Black Widow is the most disappointing Hitscan hero in this list. Her secondary is a Hitscan, charge-up, sniper rifle that can't one-shot enemies, and her mobility kit isn't fast enough to get her out of trouble.

#6 Adam Warlock

Adam Warlock's ability kit isn't necessarily bad but his usefulness gets negated if he isn't on a team with Starlord or Mantis.

#5 The Punisher

Arguably one of the easiest heroes to pick up in Marvel Rivals, the Punisher has a very versatile ability kit that can be used in any situation. His Hitscan weapons include a medium range primary rifle and a secondary shotgun that can be used in close combat.

#4 Starlord

The closest comparison to Starlord is Tracer from Overwatch. His primary and ultimate are both decent Hitscan attacks and he has the perfect abilities needed to be a good diver and flank character, however, Starlord is ultimately outmatched by Spiderman, Psylocke, and Wolverine in terms of damage and overall impact in the game.

#3 Psylocke

Psylocke is one of the best flankers in-game. Her stealth ability and melee prowess make her absolutely lethal in 1v1 encounters and the perfect character to ambush Strategist heroes.

#2 Luna Snow

Luna Snow is currently one of the best Strategist-class heroes in Marvel Rivals. Her Idol Aura ability allies, while Absolute Zero freezes enemies, making her effective in supporting Duelist heroes.

#1 Hela

Hela is the strongest duelist in Marvel Rivals and so far, no other hero comes close. Hela’s abilities include a projectile that deals explosive damage and a Hitscan primary attack that can take down most heroes in two or three shots. Combine that with a great zoning ultimate ability and Hela becomes one of the most dominant heroes in Marvel Rivals.
