How To Increase Attack Power
Step 1: Acquire A Memory From A Boss
You will first need to acquire a memory of a boss from the game. You will need to face and defeat them in order to get their memory. Take note that not all bosses will reward you with a memory.
Only Major Bosses Reward Memories
Despite having a multitude of bosses in the game, you will only be able to acquire memories from major bosses. Mini bosses will not give you memories to enhance you attack power.

You will then need to visit the small statues that have a blue flame emanating from their top. These are called Sculptor's Idols. Commune with them to open up their menu.

Once inside the Sculptor's Idol menu, there will be an option to "Enhance Attack Power". Select this to begin confronting your memory of the boss battle.
No Need To Fight Enemies Again
After choosing to enhance your attack power, you will need to Confront one of the memories in your possession. You can breathe easy as you do not need to fight these bosses again.
Why You Should Enhance Attack Power
Permanent Increase In Damage Output
You should aim to increase your attack power to have a permanent upgrade to the amount of damage you can deal. This will give you an easier time when facing fodder enemies, and other bosses.
Get Stronger Before Revisiting Tough Bosses
If you are experiencing difficulties regarding a particularly tough boss, you can try to acquire memories from other bosses to get stronger. Once you have upgraded your attack power, you can try revisiting the tough boss again.
