1. Mission Marker Is In The Heartlands
The Mission Marker can be found in The Heartlands of the New Hanover region. It is South of Valentine and the Heartland Oil Fields.

2. Position Volunteers By Making Them Follow You
You will be able to position volunteers by locking onto them and making them follow you. Lead them into position by following the yellow blips on the map. Wait for them to get into position before choosing a new volunteer to position.
3. Posse Must Be In Position Before Montez's Men Attack
Your Posse must be in position before Montez's men start their attack. Get behind cover and patiently wait for your group to take up their posts.
4. Pop In And Out Of Cover To Shoot Enemies
Cover will be your best friend when in combat. It keeps you safe by breaking the enemy's line-of-sight. Use this to your advantage and only pop out when you are firing at enemies.
4. Constantly Monitor Your Flanks
Since Montez's men are storming the town, they will enter at different points of the town. Keep an eye on your minimap to track enemy positions and adjust your cover if necessary.
4. Check For Enemies On The Second Floor
Other enemies may try to get the height advantage by going up on buildings. Keep a lookout for enemies on 2-storey buildings since they can easily pick you off from above.
4. Heal Yourself If Needed
If you are starting to get low on health, immediately get behind cover to safely drink a Health Tonic. This will regenerate some of your health and help sustain yourself longer in battle!

2. Use The Backroads To Enter The Gunsmith
The Gunsmith is found next to the War Wagon. Using the main road is dangerous since you will be out in the open and in the Wagon's line-of-sight. Use the side streets of Valentine to safely get to the Gunsmith. There will be a backdoor which you can safely enter from.
2. Dynamite Will Be On The Table
The Dynamite can be found on the table of the shop. Approaching it will prompt you to pick one up. Make sure to equip it on your weapon wheel before heading out to face the War Wagon.
3. Throw Dynamite To Destroy The Wagon
After picking up the dynamite, head out and throw it at the War Wagon. Since it deals damage to an area of effect, all you need to do is throw it in close proximity to the wagon.
4. Killing Fleeing Attackers Is Optional
Killing the fleeing attackers is not a requirement. Once they have created a good distance between them and the town, the mission will end.
