This versatile strategy lets your team adapt to matchups by swapping between 2 Vanguards and a single DPS if your team needs to hold the objective or 2 DPS and a single Vanguard for a more aggressive edge.
The team-up ability between Emma Frost, Magneto, and Psylocke is the backbone of this team composition. Emma Frost's ability to disable enemy ultimates plays a crucial role in this team to create openings for powerful ultimates like Scarlet Witch's Reality Erasure (Q) or Psylocke's Dance of the Butterfly (Q) to be executed more easily. This approach is not only more straightforward but also more reliable than relying on Doctor Strange's Portal Tricks to set up a single ultimate ability.
This team setup is a force to be reckoned with, especially on maps with static objectives. Once this team locks down an objective, recapturing it becomes a near-impossible task for the other team. Namor's new team-up ability with the Hulk makes him an even stronger defender against flankers, while Iron Man continues to shine as a top-tier damage dealer with untouched buffs despite recent balancing updates. With Loki and Luna Snow as the healers/damage boosters, this team can potentially take on the best offensive teams in all of Marvel Rivals.
This team composition excels at quickly reaching the objective thanks to heroes with mobility kits, though it doesn’t fit the mold of a dedicated diver team. It’s a great counter-pick if your squad needs to secure an objective to push the round into overtime, especially when Doctor Strange is banned. This season, Bucky won’t have the luxury of unlimited ammo from his previous team-up with Rocket, but his new team-up ability with Captain America grants him crowd control and the ability to leap near an ally, enabling him to easily execute his combo. On the other hand, Thor is making a comeback due to his recent Season 2 buffs, and The Punisher remains as adaptable as ever.
Marvel Rivals won't be Marvel Rivals without a Dive Hell Comp. This team composition focuses on enemy harassment and netting quick kills using Spider-Man, Star-Lord, and Psylocke as the main attackers. Be mindful, though, that this is essentially a very high-risk, high-reward 1-3-2 lineup and might cost you the round if the enemy team is able to overwhelm your single vanguard.
