What is the Sound Print System?
Direction of Sounds Made by Enemies

When an enemy makes a sound, a waveform is displayed at the top of the screen. The size changes according to the distance, and the closer the sound, the larger the waveform.
Color Changes Depending on Sound

The color of the waveform changes depending on the type of sound produced; footsteps and voices are displayed in white, while gunshots are in red. If a gunshot is heard nearby, there's a possibility they are shooting at you, so check the sound print to quickly identify the enemy's position.
See the Loudness of Your Own Sounds
The loudness of the sound you are making is always displayed in the upper left corner of the screen. The color of the waveform changes depending on the loudness, changing from white to orange to red as it gets louder.
How to Use the Sound Print System
Escape Where There Are No Enemies

When you want to avoid combat, moving away from the direction where the sound print appeared can reduce the risk of encountering enemies. This is useful when you have no healing items or when deploying in Impostor mode.
Ambush Enemies Engaged in Combat

If multiple gunshots are heard from a nearby location, it's highly likely that enemies are fighting each other. If you can catch them off guard from the side or behind, you can attack them unilaterally.
Hide to Ambush/Evade Enemies

Sound prints are also displayed for footsteps, so you can hide behind objects or in room corners to ambush enemies, or hide in bushes to let them pass. If you remain still, you can create a very advantageous situation where only you are aware of the enemy's position.
