Combat Techniques
Switch Firing Modes Based on Distance
Close Range | Full Auto / Hip Fire |
Mid to Long Range | Burst Fire / Semi-Auto |
Firing a gun in full auto makes recoil control difficult and reduces accuracy. It's recommended to use full auto in close-quarters combat to prioritize burst damage, and use burst fire or tap firing in mid to long-range combat when prioritizing accuracy.
Evasive Shooting
By utilizing left and right leans while shooting, you can reduce the probability of being hit compared to exposing your entire body. If cover is available, actively use evasive shooting with leans.
Prone Shooting
This is a technique where you immediately go prone to remove your body from the enemy's line of fire during an encounter outdoors. After going prone, you just need to aim upwards, so if you can return fire quickly, it's possible to score a counter kill.
Hip Fire
It excels in quickness to start firing and movement speed, making it effective in close-quarters firefights and unexpected encounters. However, accuracy is reduced, so it's recommended to use ADS for shooting at mid-range or farther.
Jump Shooting
If you are hiding behind low cover, you can surprise the enemy by jumping and shooting from above. Since you cannot ADS while jumping, you can only aim roughly, but it is an effective tactic when you know the enemy's location.
Recoil Control
When you keep firing a gun, the recoil causes your viewpoint to move upwards. Recoil control is the act of counteracting this recoil with viewpoint adjustments to make your bullets fly straight. This technique is especially effective with full-auto weapons and directly impacts your win rate in combat.
Recoil Can Be Reduced with Customization

You can reduce recoil by customizing your gun. Full customization can be expensive, but partial customization, such as only adding a foregrip, is inexpensive and easy for beginners to try.
Keep Magazine Space Free in Your Rig
Reloading Procedure | |
1. | Remove magazine from gun |
2. | Place in rig/pocket |
3. | Take next magazine from rig/pocket |
4. | Attach to gun |
When reloading, if there is no space in your pockets or rig to put the magazine, you will drop it on the ground. This adds the extra step of picking it up again, so when looting, be mindful of filling your bag first and try to keep your rig as empty as possible.
Positional Techniques
Flick Looting
When looting anything, whether it's a box, jacket, or dead body, there is a preliminary action (like opening a box with your hands). During this action, you can move your viewpoint, so by pre-aiming your camera towards where enemies might come from, it becomes easier to deal with ambushes.
Don't Stand Still in Open Areas

When opening the map or inventory during a raid, always take cover behind an obstacle to prevent being shot while defenseless. This is especially true in open areas where lines of sight can come from all directions, making it very dangerous.
How to Distinguish Players from NPCs
NPC Characteristics | |
1. | They make sounds frequently |
2. | They don't jump |
3. | Their movements are mechanical and predictable |
They Make Sounds Frequently
If a character is talking when they spot an enemy, fire a gun, or throw a grenade, there's a high chance they are an NPC.
They Don't Jump
Even if there are ledges, NPCs will go around or change their path instead of jumping. If you hear a jumping sound, it's almost certainly a player, so be careful.
Their Movements are Mechanical and Predictable
NPCs move in ways that are not human-like, such as having linear movement paths or standing still in open areas. It's easier to tell if you can observe them from a distance.
Knifer (or Hatchet Runner)

This involves deploying with only a knife, or light equipment like just a handgun, then dashing to loot and extract. You have little to lose, and if you have a secure container, you can reliably bring back items. It's useful for targeting specific rare items or collecting mission items.
Bag in Bag (Nesting Bags)

A method of storing bags inside other bags. By repeating this bag in bag technique like a Matryoshka doll, you can significantly save warehouse space.
