Effects and How to Obtain Gifts
Increases Rapport with Alain
By giving gifts, you can increase the Rapport between Alain and the character who received the gift. The amount of Rapport gained varies depending on the present, and giving a favorite item doubles the effect. Additionally, while no character has gem-type gifts as their favorite, these gifts can significantly increase Rapport.
Must Appoint as a Guard to Give Gifts
To give a gift, you need to station the target character as a guard in a liberated town. Always station a guard in new towns.
Mercenaries Have No Favorite Items
Mercenaries hired at forts do not have favorite items that easily increase Rapport. To increase a mercenary's Rapport, it is recommended to use an Inn instead of giving gifts.
How to Obtain Gifts
Purchase at Town Item Shops
Item shops available after liberating towns sell items for presents. The selection varies by area, so be sure to buy the items you want.
Pray at Cemeteries in Each Area
Visiting all cemeteries in a country completes a field quest, and you will receive a bouquet as a reward. Note that Sharon is required to start the field quest.
Liberation Battle Clear Rewards
Quests to liberate forts and towns on the field yield gifts with high effectiveness upon clearing. They are valuable, so use them wisely.
Pick Up on the Field
From items found on the field, you can sometimes pick up gem-type gifts with very high effectiveness. Check the map and don't forget to pick them up.
