What You Can Do at Forts
Fort Functions Unlock with Renown Points
Renown Rank | Unlocked Feature |
---|---|
D | Hiring, 4th unit expansion slot |
C | Max unit members: 4 |
B | Class Change |
A | Max unit members: 5 |
Unit Expansion

At forts, you can spend Honors to increase the number of character slots in a unit. With unit expansion, you can expand up to 10 units of 5 members each. Functions are limited by Renown Rank, so unlock them as you progress through the game.
Hiring

At forts, you can spend Honors to hire allies. Select the class you want to hire, then choose the character's name, stat growth type, attire, etc. Stat growth tendencies will change, so hire characters as needed according to the situation.
Checkable from the World Map

Open the world map and hover the cursor over a fort to see facility information. There, you can check the hireable classes, so look for a place where you can hire the characters you want.
Dismissal

At forts, you can part ways with allies hired through recruitment. If you dismiss them, be aware that they cannot be rehired. When dismissed, their equipped items will remain, and half of the Honors paid at the time of hiring will be returned.
Mock Battles

At forts, you can simulate battles using your formed units. You can try out various things like member combinations and tactic checks, so make use of this if you get stuck on a stage.
Class Change

At forts, you can spend Honors to promote selected characters to advanced classes. Performing a class change will increase stats, add learned skills, and initial AP/PP. It requires 25 to 50 Honors per character, so prioritize class changing frequently used characters.
