Story Progression Chart
| No. | Procedure |

| 1 | Defeat (or evade) firefly guards and proceed. You can get Assault Rifle from the defeated enemy |
| 2 | Proceed through the door which has "Stairwell B" sign and take the stairs up. Check the room located on the right of the stairwell. There is Marlene's Recorder 1 by the computer |
| 3 | Check the counter located right in front of the stairs and get Surgeon's Recorder |
| 4 | Behind the counter, you can find a shiv door. Get Firefly Pendant and supplies |
| 5 | Pass the bright light and there is a yellow tent with Firefly mark on it on your right. Search inside and get Marlene's Journal |
| 6 | More guards appear as you proceed. Hide or defeat them to proceed |
| 7 | Proceed to the door on the end. Right after Joel barricaded the door, enter the room on your right and get Marlene's Recorder 2 |
| 8 | Enter through the red door and rescue Ellie |
| 9 | Enter the elevator without being spotted by guard |
1. How To Deal With Fireflies In The Hospital
Firefly Guards are well armed and will outnumber you. Try to minimize combat and stay off the radar. If you need to kill guard, use bow or strangle from behind.
2. Get Marlene's Recorder 1
After you take the stairs and arrived 6th floor, find a room on your right. There is Marlene's Recorder 1 by the computer.
3. Get Surgeon's Recorder
Check the counter right in front of the stairwell to get Surgeon's Recorder.
4. Get Firefly Pendant
Open the shiv door behind the counter with Surgeon's Recorder. Get Firefly Pendant by the computer.
5. Get Marlene's Journal
After passing the bright light in front of the stairwell, you will see a yellow tent with Firefly mark. Search inside and get Marlene's Journal.
7. Get Marlene's Recorder 2
After Joel barricaded the door right before he enters Ellie's operation room, check the room on your right adn find Marlene's Recorder 2.
