New Game Plus Available After Beating Game

New Game Plus is an mode unlocked after you have beaten the game, which allows you to carry over certain aspects of your initial play through and start the game anew.

Carry Over Boosted Stats, Weapon Upgrades & Crafting Levels

Carry Over Boosted Stats, Weapon Upgrades & Crafting Levels

As you replay the game in new game plus mode, you will be able to carry over certain aspects from your original play through. These include: increased Stats & Skills, Weapon Upgrades, and Tool Levels.

Weapons Themselves Are Not Carried Over

It is to be noted that although your weapon upgrades will be retained, you will only acquire these weapons as you did when first playing through the game. This means you will not have access to powerful flamethrowers and other weapons right at the start.

New Game Plus Required To Max Out Skills

During your initial play through, you will not have access to enough supplements to max out all of your skills. Maxing out these skills require you to replay the game in New Game Plus, to get additional supplements on your second run.

What To Do After Beating The Game

Find All Hidden Collectible Items In NG+

Find All Hidden Collectible Items In NG+

You may continue your search for completing your collectibles (ex. Firefly Pendant, Survival Guide etc.) where you may have initially missed out in the New Game Plus mode.

Complete Your Achievements & Tags In NG+

Complete Your Achievements & Tags In NG+

For the completionists and trophy hunters, you may also want to consider checking out the Achievements & Trophies available on your PlayStation menu, and Tags hunt for those extra mileage on your second playthrough. Also, the in-game currency you get for completing Tags can be used to unlock skins, concept art, and render modes.

Max Out All Weapon Upgrade & Skills

You can also gain additional parts and supplements in the new game plus. Use these resources to upgrade and refine your character skills, Tool Levels, and weapon upgrades.

There is also a PVP multiplayer mode available in The Last Of Us. These will put you in the shoes of one of the members of the survivor factions to go head to head with other players in an compelling match.
