2. Scavenge and Retake Outposts for Faster Ethanol Gathering

Scavenge and Retake Outposts for Faster Ethanol Gathering

Once you liberate an outpost for the first time, you can scavenge that outpost and have the Highwaymen retake the outpost. Scavenging rewards you with some Ethanol, then Liberating it again rewards you with more Ethanol.

Aim for Stealth and No Alarms When Liberating Outposts

Liberating outposts via stealth tactics rewards you with more Ethanol. Take out alarms from a distance with your bow or silenced Sniper Rifle, to at least get "No Alarm", which rewards additional 50 Ethanol. Triggering alarms also calls in tougher enemies.

2. Prioritize Upgrading Workbench for Better Weapons

Prioritize Upgrading Workbench for Better Weapons

Upgrading the Workbench allows you to craft higher rarity weapons, which makes it easier to take down and Liberate outposts.
