Recommended Perks to Get Early in the Game
Repair Torch
The Repair Torch is one of the most useful perks in the game. Other than repairing vehicles and unlocking safes, The Repair Torch can also be used as a weapon if needed. It's also cheap at only 3 Perk Points to unlock.
Well-Armed
With another weapon slot, you'll be able to create a proper loadout depending on your ammo and the ranges you want to fight in. This will negate the need to constantly search for another weapon during combat.
More Light Ammo
Having more ammo is always a good thing. At the start of the game, you'll most likely run across light weapons rather than heavy ones so it's better to have more ammo for the more accessible weapons around.
More Medkits
With More Medkits, you'll be able to increase the amount of Medkits you have with you. This is especially helpful when in combat since although you have regeneration, it doesn't fill your health fully and it takes a while.
Covert
Covert will help you to sneak around Outposts and during missions more successfully. With the additional movement speed while crouching, you'll be able to switch positions quicker if you get noticed.
Grapple
Grapple will allow you to access certain areas with good loot. It's better to get this perk and go to those areas early rather than having to backtrack later to get them.

| Tactical Binoculars | 4 | Press ↑ button to equip binoculars to tag enemies more quickly, from greater distances, and in a wider radius. |
| Hotwire | 4 | Automatically disables booby-traps on HIghwayment vehicles. |
| Mechanic | 6 | Reduces weapon overheating on machine guns. When in a vehicle, it will slowly repair itself. |
| Lock Picking | 6 | Hold ☐ to pick locks on doors and safes. |
| Saboteur | 8 | Hold ☐ to explode vehicles after 10 seconds. Hold △ to explode vehicles when they hit an obstacle at high speeds. Hold △ to explode alarms and mounted weapons when used. |

| Dexterity | 7 | Accelerates consumable crafting, sabotage, disabling alarms, and opening safes and supply drops. Press the R1 button to throw back incoming dynamite. |
| Locked and Loaded | 5 | Reload weapons while aiming with semi-automatic handguns or sniper rifles. Press △ to switch to the last equipped weapon quickly. |

| Wrath | 8 | Hold R3 button to temporarily increase speed, melee damage, reduce damage taken, and be immune to knock-downs. Consumes Eden's Gift. |
