Far Cry New Dawn will have a character creation feature that allows you to customize the way you look while out exploring Hope County. You will be able to choose what you wear, your weapon's finish, and more.
Character Customization Overview
Choose Your Character's Appearance
In Far Cry New Dawn, you will have full control as to how your character will look like. Based on the trailer, you will be able to customize their gender, facial features, clothing, race, and more!
Can You Change Your Appearance Later On?
At the time of writing, it is still unclear whether you will be able to change your character's gender or facial features later on in the game. However, throughout the game, you will be able to swap out different cosmetic items such as clothing articles.
Choose Between A Male Or Female Character
You will be given the choice to play as a male or female character in Far Cry New Dawn. Be careful! It is still not confirmed whether you will be able to change this choice later on.
What Appearance Changes Can You Make?
Headwear / Masks
Based on the trailer, you will be able to equip different headwear, and masks. These include helmets, Gorilla masks, various hats, and other accessories.
Outfits
You can also equip your character with a fully-customized outfit. Outfits can range from a full suit of armor to a pink unicorn onesie!
Customize Weapon & Vehicle Appearance
You will also be able to customize how your weapons and vehicles look like. These customizations are purely aesthetic, and will offer no gameplay advantage in any way.
