The Great Escape - Walkthrough Chart

No.Procedure
1Open up your map and mark the area where Nick Rye's rescue call is coming from
2Head to the marked area to find the small area where Nick Rye is being held captured
3Clear the old water plant of Highwaymen
4Once the area is clear, talk to Nick Rye to start the mission
5Follow Nick until you reach a wooden shed by the water
6Drive the vehicle, following the yellow markers
7Just follow the yellow markers until you reach another wooden shed by the water
8Park the vehicle inside the wooden shed to initiate a cutscene and end the mission

The Great Escape Mission Tips & Tricks

1. Locate Nick Rye - Tips

Mark Nick Rye's Icon On Map

If you want to locate Nick Rye to start this mission, open up your map and use his icon as your marker for the waypoint. He is exactly where the icon is in your map.

3. Clear Old Water Plant - Tips

Highwaymen Have Level 3 Armor Here

The Highwaymen guarding this area will have level 3 armor - making it hard for lower levels to defeat them. Make sure you have level 3 weapons to be able to fight these Highwaymen.

Use Molotovs Or Dynamite To Damage Highwaymen

If you haven't upgraded any of your weapons or facilities in Prosperity, you can use molotovs or dynamite to do big damage to the heavily armored Highwaymen.

To make your escape successful, you need to drive the vehicle to your destination in one piece. Avoid obstacles such as oil barrels and boats to prevent getting the vehicle damaged.

At the latter end of the drive, you'll encounter Highwaymen on boats. You can use the vehicle's gun to shoot them down before they can damage you.
