1. Veteran's Homestead Location
You can find the Veteran's Homestead right at the northeastern short of O'Creagh's Run. It's not that hard to find so you'll be able to see it once you get to the area.
1~2. Only Appears 24 In-Game Hours After The Veteran III
This Stranger Side Mission will only appear 24 in-game hours after completing "The Veteran III" Stranger Mission. Make sure to complete the mission prior to this in order for the Side Mission to start!
1. Sleep In Camps Or Hotels To Advance Time
Want to start this mission immediately? You can opt to bypass waiting for 24 in-game hours by sleeping at a hotel or camp. This will advance time for a maximum of 20 hours per sleep!

| 1 | Chase the boar on foot as Hamish gets the horses. |
| 2 | There will be a blot on your minimap as to where the boar was last seen. |
| 3 | Search for signs of the boar in the blotted area. |
| 4 | Meet up with Hamish and the horses. |
| 5 | Follow the tracks up to the two diverging trails the boar left. |
| 6 | Split up with Hamish and search for the boar up the hill. |
| 7 | Find and inspect the gored wolf. |
3~6. Use Eagle Eye To Look For Clues
Using Eagle Eye will highlight traces of the boar and its tracks. Use Eagle Eye to see where the boar is headed to!

| 2 | Run towards the source of the noise. |
| 3 | You will find Hamish on the ground near his horse. |
| 4 | After Hamish dies, the boar will appear. |
| 5 | Kill the boar before it gores you. |
5. Use Dead Eye To Shoot The Boar Multiple Times
The Boar will be charging at you, giving you only a little time before getting gored by it. Trigger Dead Eye and paint the boar with targets to get off a lot of shots and kill the boar even before it hits you.
