2 | Fight Tamers Along The Way To The Giant Banyan |
Catchable Temtem In This Area
1. Head To The Elevator
After defeating the Dojo & getting the Elevator key, head straight for the elevator in the west side of town. Choose Citerior Omninesia as your destination!
2. Travel To The West
When you arrive in Citerior Omninesia, keep heading to the west while taking the southern route. You will fight several trainers here, so make sure you have healing items & Smoke Bombs.
Take The Branching Path North For A Quest
If you go north at the split path, you'll come across an artist you can talk to continue to the Better Future: Ariadne quest, which you should have picked up in Deniz.
Farm Babawa For Exp
Babawa is a Temtem that appears very frequently in this area. It also has a 4x weakness to the Toxic type, making it rather easy to take out. If you're low on levels, consider farming it for exp! Moves like Urushiol or Venomous Claws can deal with it very easily. Note that each Babawa you defeat will give you +4 Stamina TVs.
Tamers & Their Temtem
The Tamers in this area have a wide variety of Temtem, with the most common types being Wind, Nature, Fire, & Water. We strongly recommend an Electric & Water type Temtem, like Ganki, Piraniant, or Nessla.

Recommended Level 25-30
The Temtems used by Tamers in this area range from Lv 19-25 (plus one Lvl. 30 Granpah). In order to survive through this area, we recommend having at least 1-2 Temtems in the 25-30 range.
Run From Double Spriole Fights
Spriole has the Trait "Camaraderie", which reduces its damage taken massively if it is fighting alongside a member of its own evolutionary line. This means that you should either focus one down fast, or simply run from the battle. We recommend running, as it's not worth the time.
Talk To Carlos
Meet Carlos In Front Of The Giant Banyan Entrance
No. | Procedure |
---|---|
1 | Speak To Carlos Near The Giant Banyan |
2 | Return To Superior Omninesia |
1. Approach The Skulking Carlos
When you get close to the end of the zone, you'll see some members of Clan Belsoto blocking the cave entrance, as well as Carlos lying in hiding behind a bush. Talk to him to progress the story & get access to Ulterior Omninesia.
Use A Smoke Bomb For Fast Travel
If you haven't already, make sure you buy plenty of Smoke Bombs, as they will warp you back to the last healing spot you used, dramatically reducing the time spent running back to heal.

Recommended Level 25-30
The tamers in this area use Tems of various levels, largely between 20-27, with some higher level solo fights as well. If you find yourself underleveled, take the opportunity to farm up as there will be a few challenging boss encounters coming up soon.
Bring Electric And Toxic Tems/Moves
This area's Tamers use a surprising amount of Water & Wind types, meaning it will be a good idea to have a reliable Electric type, as well as several Toxic moves ready (such as Noxious Bomb, which you can find in Superior Omninesia).
2. Get The Belsoto Uniform
After getting the Uniform at the location on the map above, you can go directly back to Carlos in Citerior Omninesia!
(Optional) Clear The Rest Of The Zone
You can continue to loop around this zone & go up the right side to back to the elevator if you choose. This will pit you against many new other Tamers & give you a lot of experience. We recommend this if you've been struggling with some fights recently.

Bring Electric And Toxic Moves + A Water Type
The Tamers in this area also have a lot of Wind and Water Tems, though Fire is on the rise. As usual, bring Electric and Toxic moves, but it's also worth bringing out a Water type to train up against the Vulvir, Banapi, and Capyre you encounter here.
Belsoto Lieutenant Fight
Belsoto Lieutenant Battle
Temtem Lvl. | Type | Weakness |
---|---|---|
Barnshe Lvl. 22 | x2 x4 | |
Mastione Lvl. 27 | x2 | |
Gazuma Lvl. 26 | x2 | |
Vulor Lvl. 24 | x2 x4 | |
Pocus Lvl. 27 | x2 |
Electric And Water Types Are Your Best Bet
The Lieutenant will send out Barnshe and Mastione first, so adjust your party beforehand. Ganki and a Water-type are good bets as starters. When he brings out Gazuma, swap out your Water-type temporarily for an Electric or Nature type to resist the electric hit. Vulor should fall easily to a single water attack, as it is 4x weak to them. Save an electric type for Pocus at the end as well!
Use Balm+ On Your Electric User
The Lieutenant's final Tem will be the Mental-type Pocus, which can be difficult if you don't have a super-effective move. As such, use a Balm+ on your Electric user on the turn of a Tem that is about to faint anyway. This is a good general tip to remember for the rest of the game.
