Recommended Tems To Bring
Temtem | Type | Reason |
---|---|---|
Ganki | -Deals well with Wiplump, Ukama, and Granpah | |
Saku | -Resists all Tems except Mastione and Kinu's Mental moves -Can learn Toxic moves | |
Kalabyss | -Not weak to Nature (using Loneliness Trait) -Deals with 5 of Tihani's 6 Tems using Water/Toxic moves | |
Raize | -Useful for dealing with Cerneaf and Kinu with Fire Tornado |
Bring Saku Or Loali
These two Tems are Nature/Wind type, which gives them resistances to Water, Nature, & Wind moves. All 3 of these are common on Tihani's team, but make sure to bring them out after you finish off Mastione!
Teach Noxious Bomb To Several Tems
Course TC:007, which can be found just east of the Nanga Dojo, will give you a powerful super-effective move against 4 of Tihani's Tems! If you have this move available on as many Tems as possible, you'll be able to come out on top even if you're somewhat underlevelled.
Prepare For Kinu's Beta Burst
Be ready to have a full-health Tem, ideally with high Special Defense, ready to soak Beta Burst. It's also worth using a Balm+ here just to survive through it until Kinu exhausts itself.
Recommended Tem Order
General Process | |
---|---|
1 | Lead with a Fire type and something not weak to Nature |
2 | After Mastione is down, send out Saku/Laoli/another nature type |
3 | Swap in Ganki (or Nessla) for Wiplump |
4 | Bring your Fire type back out (healed up) for Kinu |
The above flow should be your ideal goal. All in all, it is a surprisingly easy fight. Use your non-central Tems to take/deal neutral damage while interweaving key super-effective move users.
