1 After the cutscene, head to down to the Chemult town
2 Clear the horde in Chemult
3 Return to Captain Kouri at the top of the hill
4 A series of cutscenes will trigger
5 Mission ends after the cutscenes finish playing

1. Before Facing The Horde - Tips

Equip Strong Weapons With High Fire Rate

Equip Strong Weapons With High Fire Rate

It is highly recommended that you bring weapons that do high damage and have a fast fire rate with you to fight the horde. The Chicago Chopper, and the RPD are great weapons to have in your arsenal.

Attach Suppressors To Your Weapons

Attach Suppressors To Your Weapons

Before facing the horde, attach suppressors to your weapons. There will be Straggers roaming around the area that can alert the horde if they spot you. With suppressors, you can take them out without making a lot of noise.

Resupply Near The Bikes

Resupply Near the Bikes

Before heading down to the Chemult, take a look near your Bike. There will be tons of items such as Napalm Molotovs and a bag to help you resupply your ammos.

Plan Out Your Route Before Fighting The Horde

Plan Out Your Route Before Fighting The Horde

When facing the horde, you will be doing a lot of running. Scope out the area and find choke points, advantageous places, and routes which you can use in order to avoid getting surrounded by Freakers.

Place Traps In Choke Points

Place Traps In Choke Points

It is best to place traps such as the Remote Bomb in narrow spaces so that you can detonate them when you lure the Freakers there. Don't forget these locations when you're facing the horde!

2. Facing The Horde - Tips

Initiate The Fight With An Attractor

Initiate The Fight With An Attractor

Use an attractor to lure Freakers near a red barrel. Once a lot of them are in the vicinity, blow them up by shooting at the barrel, or by throwing an explosive weapon!

Run From The Horde In A Straight Line

Run From the Horde In A Straight Line

It is recommended that you run from the horde in a straight line. Making too many turns may allow Freakers to surround you and deal a lot of damage to you!

Lure Them To Choke Points

Lure Them To Choke Points

Lure Freakers into the choke points that you've scouted out earlier. Since it takes some time for the Freakers to file in, you can use this time to shoot at explosive objects, set off traps, or even shoot them down one-by-one!

Focused Shot Skill Slows Down Time

Focused Shot Skill Slows Down Time

The skill "Focused Shot" will slow down time, and allow you to precisely aim at explosive objects and shoot them at the right time to cause massive damage to a number of Freakers.

Use Your Minimap To Find Horde's General Location

Use Your Minimap to Find Horde

Use your minimap to find out where the Freakers are. You can use this to see if you are starting to get surrounded by Freakers. This will also help you plan out your next move as to where you are headed to lure the horde.

Use Napalm Molotovs When You Have Distance

Use Napalm Molotovs When You Have Distance

Throw your normal and Napalm Molotovs at the horde when you've created some distance between them. Throwing Molotovs when the horde is near may allow a burning Freaker to come too close to you and set you on fire.

White Tanks Also Explode

White Tanks Also Explode

Aside from the red barrels and gas canisters lying around in an area, white tanks will also explode when you shoot at them. You can lure Freakers near these tanks and shoot at them to explode a lot of Freakers.

Stamina Cocktails Will Help You Sprint Longer

Stamina Cocktails Will Help You Sprint Longer

Bring and craft some Stamina Cocktails with you to instantly replenish your Stamina. While the effects of the Stamina Cocktail are active, your Stamina will also drain slower while sprinting.

3. Don't Forget To Collect Freaker Ears

Don

Don't forget to collect the Freaker Ears that the Horde drops after defeating them. It may be tedious, but you can exchange them in Camp to earn a ton of Credits and Trust!

Use Minimap To Collect Freaker Ears

Use Minimap To Collect Freaker Ears

Your minimap will help you find the Freaker Ears that drop from the horde. The small "X"s mark the Freaker Ears. Walking over those Freaker Ears will instantly collect them for you.
