What Can You Do in Camps?
Purchase Weapons, Ammo at the Merchant
Merchants inside camps will have a selection of weapons and ammo that you can buy to stock up. Instead of looting, you can just buy more powerful weapons from them.

At the Mechanic, you can bring in your motorcycle to get repaired or refueled. It will cost money for every repair and refuel. Upgrades for your motorcycle are also available for purchase.
Sell Meat & Plants at the Kitchen
Bring in meat and plants and sell them for cash at the Kitchen. This will also raise your relationship level with that camp.
Exchange Freaker Ears for Money at Bounties
Get paid for your hard work in taking down Freakers by selling their ears at the Cash Office. Different Freaker Ears sell for different amounts!
Receive Missions, Side Quests from NPCs
There are specific NPCs in camps that can give you story and side missions. You'll be able to see if they have anything for you in their display name.

There are multiple camps found in Days Gone that you're free to use once you've gained access to them. Some are tied to the main story, requiring you to complete missions first.
Improve Relationship to Camp to Unlock More Features
The better your relationship with the camp, the more items they'll have at their shops. Buying and selling at the camps and rescuing survivors are a few ways to raise your relationship level with them.
