1. Open the Gun Locker - Tips
Don't Forget to Equip the Drifter Crossbow
Before leaving the camp, make sure to equip the Drifter Crossbow from the Gun Locker. It has higher damage and accuracy compared to the Standard Crossbow,
3. Follow the Marauder - Tips
Loot Cedar Saplings to Create Crossbow Bolts
In the forest between your camp and the marauders' camp, you'll find Cedar Saplings that you can combine with Scrap to create Crossbow Bolts. Grab them to have materials to create bolts in case you run out of ammo.

Use Crossbow to Take Them Out Stealthily
As a silent weapon, the Crossbolt will allow you to take down the maruaders from a distance without alerting them of your position. Stay crouched to stay hidden as you move to other angles to take them out.
5. Keep Moving to Main Road - Tips
Stay Crouched and Walk Around Freakers
As much as possible, don't engage with Freakers. You can do this by simply circling around them. Remember to stay crouched to muffle your movements.
Take Out Freakers with Crossbow
If you have no choice but to take on a Freaker, do it from a safe distance with the Crossbow. The silence shots will allow you to take them out without alerting the others.
6. Follow Copeland's Man - Tips
Stay Alert for the Freakers
Stay observant as the forest where you follow Copeland's man has a few Freakers. Shoot them down quickly if they're in your way.
