How Mining Works

Equip Pickaxe and Hit Rocks

Mining is straightforward in Roblox The Forge, and all you have to do is equip a pickaxe by pressing 1 and hit pebbles and ores, but there are a few things worth knowing. When a rock breaks, you get ores based on RNG. The more Luck you have from your race, pickaxe bonuses, or potions, the better your chances of getting rare ores.

Early Mining Tips

For quests that ask for Stone or basic materials, there are some Pebbles which you can mine near The Cave entrance. They're safe, fast to break, and drop Stone more often than anything else. You'll also pick up Copper, Tin, and Iron while doing this.

How to Forge Equipment

By Playing Forging Mini Games

Apart from mining, Forging is the other core progression system in Roblox The Forge. You take ores you've mined and turn them into weapons and armor.

Steps
Step 1: Select Ores Select the ores you want to forge. Their type and rarity determine the armors and weapons you can create.
Step 1: Fill the Meter Hold left click and pump up and down to fill the vertical bar.
Step 2: Pour Molten Ores Into the Mold Tap and hold to keep the white line inside the moving yellow bar. Your progress fills when you're in the target zone.
Step 3: Break the Mold Click repeatedly on the mold to break it open and reveal your item.
Step 4: Timing Challenge This is the hardest part. Tap when the outer circle perfectly overlaps the inner circle. Green means perfect timing, red means you missed. The better your timing, the higher the item quality (up to 100%).
Step 4: Receive Item After the quenching animation, you'll be able to receive your crafted item by pressing Accept.

Tip!	Save rare ores for later. Early-game gear gets replaced quickly, so use common materials (Copper, Tin, Iron, Stone) for your first few crafts.

How to Upgrade Your Equipment

Go to the Enhancer and Runemaker

There are two ways to upgrade your armor and weapon: Enhancing and Runes.

Enhancing uses essences dropped by enemies to increase your gear stats while Runes are special items dropped by enemies that give your gear passive abilities, such as Poison or Burn damage.

Tip!	Use runes whenever you have them because you can attach and detach runes to any item that has an open slot.

How to Reroll Your Race

Use Your Free 3 Spins

When you spawn, you'll start as a Human. Human is one of the worst races to use in this game, so your first priority should be rerolling to a better race. Talk to the Wizard and use your free 3 rerolls.

Your First Goal: Reach Level 10

Reaching Level 10 Unlocks Forgotten Kingdom

Your primary objective as a new player is to hit level 10. This unlocks the portal to the Forgotten Kingdom (Map 2), where better pickaxes, ores, and new quests await.

Accept Every Quest You See

Talk to every NPC and accept all of their requests. Many quests have overlapping objectives like mining ores or defeating a certain number of monsters, so you'll be able to complete multiple objectives at once.

Claim Bonus XP on the Index

Press T to open your menu, then navigate to the Index tab. Every time you craft a new item type for the first time, such as a new armor or weapon, you get a big XP reward. Claim these immediately from the Index.

The Best Pickaxe Progression Path

There's a lot of pickaxes in the game, all of which are in varying tiers and prices. However, some of these offer very tiny improvement for a lot of cash that you may be able to use to enhance your weapon or armor, buy potions, or use the runemaker's services. Follow this path instead.

Note!	The best pickaxe in Roblox The Forge is either Arcane or Demonic pickaxe. The Demonic Pickaxe has the highest Mining Power while the Arcane Pickaxe has the highest Luck Boost

How to Earn Money in the Early Game

Forge and Sell Gear

That 125,000 for the Arcane Pickaxe isn't going to earn itself, and you need to start saving up from the get-go if you want to get the best pickaxe. The best way to earn money in the early game is to forge and sell your lesser and unwanted gear to Marbles.

Tip!	If you can tip the scales, make sure to forge medium or heavy gear. These items give the best return on investment based on ore cost versus sell price.

Tips and Tricks

Redeem Codes Regularly

The Forge releases new codes frequently that give free rerolls or Luck Totems.

Don't Spend Money on Potions Early

You don't need damage, health, or luck potions for Map 1 content. Save them for Island 2, where they actually matter.

Be Ready to Grind

Roblox The Forge is a grind-heavy RPG with proper progression systems. Accept every quest, prioritize pickaxe upgrades, and focus on mining first and combat second. Once you understand the core loop of mining, forging, and upgrading, everything else falls into place.
