The Bard Is Located Beside Maria's Potion Shop

The Bard is super easy to find since he's right near where you spawn in Stonewake's Cross. Leave the spawn building and look to your right. You'll see Maria's Potion Shop, and next to it will be the bard sitting in a campfire.

Where to Find the Bard's Guitar

The Guitar Is Hidden Inside the Secret Cave

Now here comes the tricky part. The guitar is hidden in a secret area inside the Cave, and the entrance is disguised to look like part of the normal cave wall. It's very easy to miss it so pay attention to these steps:

Step 1: Enter the Cave
Head north from the Bard leading to The Cave entrance.
Step 2: Go Down the Slope and Turn left
Once you enter the cave, follow the slope downward. At the bottom you'll see two NPCs standing around: Nord and Umut The Brave. As soon as you reach this area, turn left.
Step 3: Look for the Fake Wall
This is where it gets sneaky. Along the left wall, you'll see some greenery, moss, and leaves growing out of the cave wall. It's between two wooden support pillars. The key landmark is that it's directly across from Umut The Brave.
Step 4: Grab the Guitar
Step into the moss and wiggle your way until you land into the Secret Cave. It's a narrow corridor with a skeleton sitting against the wall. Look to the right and you'll see the guitar sitting on a ledge
Step 5: Climb Back Out
There's a ladder in the Secret Cave that leads back up to the main area. All you need to do is walk up to it and you'll be able to head back to the surface.

How to Get Quest Rewards

Return the Guitar to the Bard

Go back to the campfire where you found the Bard. Interact with him again and select the option to return his guitar. He'll stop sobbing and will reward you with XP, 1,000 cash, and an item, "Unknown Key" which you can use to purchase the Arcane Pickaxe later on.
