6. Physical Exam Location
Head north from the Charleston Fire Department to find where the Physical Exam is being conducted. The site of the exam is just within Charleston!
7. Kill the Enemies in the Obstacle First
The obstacle course isn't as simple as it seems as different enemies such as Ghouls and even Super Mutants may spawn in the area. It's best to take down enemies first before starting the exam.
8. Follow the Arrows around the Obstacle Course
While running through the course, take notice of arrow signages around you to know where you should head next! They can be easily spotted even at night as long as you have your Pip-Boy light on.
8. Continue Down the Path after the Second Checkpoint
You will have to run back to the starting point once you push the button at the checkpoint. No need to turn around though. Just follow the red arrows down the path after the checkpoint.
9. Belching Betty Location
For the final exam, you will have to go to the Belching Betty mine. You can find the mine southwest of the Charleston Fire Department.
13. Use VATS to Scout for Enemies in the Mine
VATS will highlight all enemies in your line of sight. Use to to determine enemy position in the mines, as well as determine whether a silhouette is a radioactive corpse or a Scorched enemy.
14. Pressing the Emergency Beacon will Attract Scorched Enemies
Better heal up before pressing the Emergency Beacon as doing so will cause the Scorched to rush over to your location. Create space between you and the scorched so that you won't get ganged up on during the fight!
Gather Materials From Nearby Buildings
When moving across locations, make sure to loot buildings and other points of interests to prepare you for the fight. It is also best to hoard as much food and water that you can to ensure your survival.
